the ice maker quit because the tempt in freezer is too warm / like abofe 15 deg./ the sweating is caused by the ice blocking the air flow . . to correct the problem from comming back ( next week ) you will have to replace the heater or defrost thermo . if these are not bad then replace the main control board .. mm hope thes helped ..

Freezer runs at 20 below and refrigerator runs at 60 ge profile


Most likely the defrost heater is burned out below the evaporator coil. It will be easy to spot because on the profile the defrost heater has a glass tube covering the element inside. You will need to defrost first before you will be able to see anything. If you replace the defrost heater also replace the defrost thermostat, Thanks, Sea breeze

I am unable to get ice. Cleared the tube.....arm on ice maker is down. I have a ge performance profile TFX22PP


Pour about 1/2 cup of water into the icemaker . If it dumps the cubes after freezing , replace the water inlet valve . If it holds the frozen cubes and does not dump , replace the icemaker . Also make sure the coils are clean of dust , lint , etc ...

There may be an issue with the water dispenser line freezing in this model. The fix for it might be this dispenser water tube heater kit # WR49X10173. Hope that helps you out and best of luck

Does'nt sound like your compressor.sounds like you may have frost build up,and the tubes may be partially blocked.Try defrosting the whole unit.

Coils frozen up yet set on "5".


you have a defrost problem if you dont know you way around wires you need a tech but your fridge is not defrosting due to faulty timer bimetal or heater like i said you might need atech to come out
