How do I get two screens to appear for transferring files on my computer?

I assume you are talking about Windows on a PC. You can open up multiple windows explorer windows by using selecting Computer from the Start menu. Navigate to the first folder that you want to transfer the files from. Next, select Computer again from the Start menu and navigate to the second folder where you want to transfer the files to. Drag and drop from folder one to folder two. Woila!

Tip

Vmware enable SSH

If you want to do advanced features in VMware ESXi you will need to go into the core of ESXi to do this you can use Secure Shell or SSH. SSH is simplar to telnet but the data is encypted.
To enable SSH on VMware ESXi you need to enter an the ‘unsupported’ mode.
Step 1. At the physical console of the ESXi server press the Alt+F1 key combination.
Step 2. Type ‘unsupported’ and then press <Enter>. Note that nothing will appear on the screen whilst you type.
Step 3. When prompted enter in the ‘Root’ password and press <Enter>.
Step 4. You will now be presented with a prompt on the console. From this prompt type the following command
vi /etc/inetd.conf
Step 5. vi (the file editor) has now opened the inetd.conf file. Using the direction arrows scroll through the lines until you reach the line that has ‘#ssh’ and remove the hash (ie: #). This is effectively un-commenting this line so that the ssh service can be started.
Step 6. Now that you have made this minor file you want to save this change and exit out of the editor (vi). To do this press the ESC key (to put vi back into Command Mode) and then type ‘:wq’ *Note: If you want to exit without saving any changes to the file then just press the ESC key (Command Mode) and then type ‘:q!’.
Step 7. With the SSH service now un-commented from this file we need to restart out ESXi box to do this type in Reboot.

How to transfer books from my kindle fire they have been sent from amazon to me they were ordered and paid for for my wifes reading only kindle

Hook your kindle fire to your computer. When the auto play window appears click on "view files". When your kindle hard drive files appear then look for the books file on your kindle. Click on the books folder then copy and paste them on your desktop then unplug your kindle. Plug your wife's kindle in then do the same to open her books folder then copy and paste the books from your desktop into her book folder.

Hello support team! i got myself a verbatim store n go 500gb usb 2.0 model nr: 53002. my problem is that as soon as i plug it into my laptop and start copying files on it it takes ages and the system...

Have you tried reformatting the usb drive? If you have any files on it go ahead and transfer them to your desktop. Just create a new folder on your desktop by right clicking on the desktop screen(not a shortcut) go to new, then click on folder(you can name it if you want). now install your usb drive and the auto play screen should come up. Select the "open folder to view files" and your folder will open with your files, now just drag and drop them into the new folder you just created on your desktop. After you have saved all your files to the new folder go ahead and open the new folder on your desktop, just to make sure everything's there, if so time for the next step. Close your usb drive folder by clicking on the "x". Now click on Start(windows logo on bottom left hand), then "computer", then find your usb device name and right click on it. Go down and click on format, then when window appears select quick format, then on the "file system" select FAT32, then click start. Everything will be erased(but that's why we copied and pasted everything to your new folder on the desktop). Once completed open up the device and transfer all your files to it. Hope this helps.

Please let me know if Filezilla is HIPAA compliant. If it is not do you know if other FTP programs are? Thank you

FTP clients are typically HIPPA compliant. HIPPA requires that FTP clients be HIPPA compliant through SSL, TLS or SSH/SFTP with at least a 128-bit secure connection. Filezilla supports FTP over SSL/TLS (FTPS) and SSH File Transfer Protocol (SFTP). In other words you are OK to use Filezilla.

Windows Media Player 11 is an all-in-one playback and recording program that lets you

Cannot Delete Descktop Folder

Log off and log back on and see if it remains.
Are you running as administrator when you attempt to delete the folder? See this article and/or this article.
It's frustrating, but UAC is there for your protection and security...it can function to prevent a downloaded executable from gaining full administrative rights over your system...

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!
