Compressor blew up...need to check to see if it's under warranty but cant find a website for the company....have any ideas phone number or website?

The mfc of the AC will provide warranty information for you, i.e. it your AC is a Whirlpool contact Whirlpool. If possible try and go back to the store that originally sold you the AC.

My phone dropped and now i cant see my screen


Looks like the drop has either dislodged the connectors or broken the screen internal links. If you have checked the battery is still intact and making contact then time to either replace the screen or buy a new one. If you have phone insurance then you could claim from your insurance company. Some phone companies provide a replacement at a small additional cost if under warranty.

My 4 year old Ruud home a/c compressor stopped working. inside fan blows but compressor won't turn on...what can I do prior to calling the gas company who installed the unit...


Ruud parts warranty from factory is 5 years, the capacitor has possible gone out, it will be in the contol compartment on the out side unit and is a dual run capacitor that controls the compressor and fan motor. Recommend if capacitor is bad to replace entire capacitor. As Stated above the parts are under warranty if under five years old. To verify age the date code is in the serial number after the "F" **** week/year of manufacture. Also outside unit has independent power supply so check fuses if any and circuit breaker.

I need help calling someone that can repair an LG AC that has a bad compreser under warranty


Get prepared by going to outdoor section and record model plus serial
number. Get installer invoice or bill of sale from retailer to establish start-up date. If installer or retailer now not in business, go to LG
website and acquire local distrubtor/service contractor number.
Please note any licensed contractor can replace compressor no charge
if all warranty conditions met, but may have to charge for labour if not
covered under warranty.

have you contacted the company who installed ? try there first, if no luck with the company, contact the manufacture directly, explain to them your problem and try to have them help you with getting the company who installed to do the right thing and replace the compressor under warranty, you may have to pay a warranty install charge, but it would be alot less than having to pay for a whole new compressor, or new unit, put your ducks in a row, get model and serial numbers, date of install, who installed it, and the manufactures warranty on the compressor, that way you will be ahead of the game, best of luck, hope that helped

I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure.
I would say you need to call the Hoover manufacturer and they would direct you to a local factory authorized vacuum dealer for the bag replacement – typically the bags and belts are considered wear items and are not covered under the factory warranty but I feel that it is still worth a phone call to see if Hoover Co will replace the bag for you. It will be up to the Hoover Factory Service Center, Question…. Is it for household use or commercial use? So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

Astar's phone and website cant' be found


I have found that Macwynn is now producing the ASTAR LTV-32ASB model tv under there brand but cant find anything out on them

You definitely need a tech. Since your power outage you may have a problem with your compressor which when there is a power outage can damage the compressor from what is called a brown out. A brown out happens just before the power goes out and because of low voltage to the compressor can burn the windings causing it to either burn out or become very noisy. CALL someone soon and I wouldn't tell them about the power outage as they may not fix it under warranty. If for some reason they find out sometimes the power company will pick up the tab. Good luck.
