If two contacts in a same name are available in your phone the particular name will not display.Phone contact and sim contact are unable to use symaltanously. So, the best way if you want to display contact name is delete one contact which is in the sim/phone.1000% Ok.

Press program *# and your system password (default is 1234). Enter 604 then press SP-PHONE. Keep on pressing SP-PHONE until you get to the desired extension number. Change the name and press AUTO DIAL / STORE. Press program to leave programming mode and you are done.

Just check in the phone book whether the number saved in the phone book or sim card or momory card are saved twice with 2 different or same name. if it is saved with 2 different name/same name. nokia phone gets confused which name to be displayed and he flash only the mobile number and not the name.

It's part of the phone system, it's software. Find out who controls the phone system and get your name on it.

Thats not the way it works.
The name on your phone is set by you - when you call them, it is set on thier phone by them.
You call them.... they might have your name entered as FatFriend.
Each time you call them - the phone recognizes your phone# and displays the stored information "FatFriend" on their phone.
You have no control over their display via your phone.
