Question about Asrock 775i65GV Motherboard

L have a motherbord of asrock which I have a problem with now.The ram slot is not working.So wat to do now

I thing on your motherboard there is 2 slot for RAM try wich is working just use that if not then you have to go to technition he will repair your slote

The TWO blue long connectors on the board with clips at either end are the ram slots, this model uses DDR1 ram, make sure you align the ram module correctly in the slot

Dosen't boot


Open cpu cabinet.
Refix RAM memory.
Clean dust from all parts.
Reattch ATX power connector from smps to motherbord.
Pull cmos cell from motherbord for 10 minutes so all settings are defaults.
REmove pci cards from pci slot of motherbord then check.
Open processor fan and processor then refix both.
Make sure motherbord not ground with cabinet cover.
Then check if still problems then change ram .check RAM and motherbord separately .

Pentium 4 motherbord socket 7 edo ram memory


P-IV system boards probably don't come in socket 7..
if however so, it may b a hybrid-board..
normally socket-7 is for P-II's..
well, wat do wanna know..??..

seek professional advise of ur system admin/vendor....

Or reset motherbord settings to defaults you can reset with 2 methods.
(1)Pull cmos cell from motherbord for 10 minutes so all settings defaults.
(2) Find jumper on motherbord named "Clear cmos" It has 1-2-3 pins.Put jumper in 2-3 position and thne power up then again put pin in 1-2 position thne all settings defualts.
Refix RAM memory.Clean dust from all parts.
Open processor and processor fan.
Remove pci cards from motherbord then check.
Make sure motherbord not ground with cabinet.

ASRock N68PV-GS Ram startup issue

it seems like you have got a compatability issue here. please contact a local computer repair shop or the manufacture of the board to find out if the memory is compatable with yoiur system

START UP PROBLEM


You need to reset bios.
Open cpu cabinet and pull cmos cell from motherbord chipset for 15 minutes then all settings are factory defaults.
Aslo you can reset settings with jumper settings .
Refix your RAM memory. Refix processor.
Reattch ATX power supply to motherbord.

Asrock P4i45GV motherboard, second slot not working.


Have you used RAM with the same FSB rating? It might accept it if the FSB rating is higher, but if its lower then it will only recogonize the earlier one. Also try swapping your existing RAM to the other slot. If that works then the DIMM slots are OK, only match the FSB's.....sodeep
