Good luck with this. If it is under warranty, Sharp will take forever to do anything about it. I had this issue and Sharp wanted pictures of the problem, Pictures of the serial and model number and the receipt. I sent it to them 6 months ago and never heard anything back. If it is not under warranty, this is a major repair and it may cost more than a new television.
If bowed like )( it is in the pincussion circuit or a wave moves up from bottom to top in what you have it is a bad input filter in the power supply. The wave if there will look like a ripple moving either up or down in what can be seen on the screen.
hi depending on the waves if it is light dark bar rolling from bottom to top it may be a defective capacitor in IF section or interference comming for ex:defective neon sign leaky electric power transformer etc. If it is a slow moving wave but no bars you have a defective power suply regulator and I don't suggest you try to fix it yourself
Tv have convergence problems,it dead.Colors lines R,G,B don't aligned.The tv convergence board is dead.The 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all it resistors are dead,these parts must be replaced to solved the tv pictures covergence problems.The shop,will cost u $300-350 for parts and labors.
You will need to replace your two convergence I.C.s.They are two large
IC mounted on a large aluminum heat sink.Replace both,look for any
burned resistors near them,replace those if needed,and readjust your
convergence. Good Luck
