What size breaker do i need for a whirlpool gold 465 electric range

Cut power to unit at breaker for a few minutes. Then plug back in. That may reset electronics to unlock door.

You have a bad broil-element relay on the Electronic Oven Control (EOC) - the contacts have welded shut (closed). You will need to replace the EOC.

there are 3 screws under the front of the top with the oven door open actually there are 6 screws but only 3 you need to remove to raise the glass top up!! to service the burners

make sure the wires going into the breaker box for the oven are TIGHT. there should be one screw for each of the 4 wires. two on the breaker and two on the busbar. if they are tight, get a meter and measure the voltage coming out of the breaker. measure across the two screws that you checked for tightness earlier. it should be about 220 to 240 volts. if this all checks out the problem is most likely at the range or the connections there. just make sure you shut off the power to the breaker when you tighten the screws with a flat blade screwdriver.

I have a Whirlpool super capacity 465, the surface light for the burners comes on, the burners don't heat up, nor does the oven,(the light that says oven is on does not light up). I checked the main circuit breaker, that works. Are there any fuses in the range that would need to be replaced?
