Yes. If you can't readily see a battery cover underneath then there may be a catch which wii allow the cover to be slid off.

Sync wireless mouse receiver

Your question is lacking info? It would be helpful if you posted the make, model of mouse and computer and the OS you are using. A general solution is to remove the batteries in the mouse, and the wireless mouse transmitter from the computer, shut down the computer. Leave the mouse batteries out for a min. or so. Start the computer wait for it to boot properly, install the USB transmitter, install the batteries in the mouse. You should see a pop-up and a connection sound, if applicable. More info would help.

The mouse does not work at all. I put in new batteries and still does not work. I had problems with my computer and since that is fixed the mouse does not work.

Hello, Allow me to try to figure this out here.

Your saying batteries and mouse so may i assume this is a wireless mouse for a moment?

Okay once you replace the batteries in the mouse you need to unplug the little transmitter from the computer, Reboot, Then plug it back in.

This would allow it to re-sync being that its infra red or otherwise.

So try that. Take out the little transmitter thob, reboot, plug it back in, the mouse should be working again.

1.Check the batteries are they in backwards?
2.Check the battery connectors inside,

Now if this is a IMAC or something like that quickly let me know!

Thanks for using fixya.com I hope this was very helpful.

Regards

The mouse isn't working, even though the device manager says that it's working properly.

Change battery.
Make sure USB transmitter for mouse is plugged in properly.
Locate buttons on both mouse and USB transmitter. Press on both.

Hello, I have a Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard. I changed the battery for the keyboard and now both are not working. I should install the driver again?

I just had the same problem. First of all, make sure the transmitter to the wireless keyboard and mouse is plugged in tightly to the computer. It's possible that you could have pulled on the wire without realizing it, and it's not plugged in tightly! Unplug and replug the transmitter anyway after you change the batteries for the wireless keyboard. Then, there's a button on the transmitter, press it for 3 seconds, then quickly press the small button on the keyboard for 3 seconds, (my small buttons are underneath my wireless keyboard and mouse, and I use the tip of a ball point pen to press them). Then do the same for the wireless mouse. This syncronizes and boots them to start.
I'm not sure about the driver, but try the above first, it worked for me after I changed the batteries on my wireless keyboard and mouse.

How do I hook the wireless mouse

2 AAA batteries go into the Mouse itself.
You plug in the USB transmitter into any USB port (Windows will recognize the install the proper drivers for you automatically).
The Mouse should have a SYNC button (push that button after you add the 2 AAA batteries and have plugged the USB transmitter into a USB port).

Just replace the battery for the wireless HP mouse; the red light flashes twice, then stopped....so it's not battery...what else is wrong?

Synchronize it with the transmitter: hit button on transmitter then hit connect button on the underside of the mouse

Wireless mouse wont connect.

Hi there.
Some wireless mice seem to go into some kind of sleep mode, in other words if you leave them for an amount of time they disconnect, the way to reconnect is to right click while moving the mouse.
Also check to make sure that the batteries in the mouse are seated properly.

Good luck

Need battery size and how to open it up without breaking it. I have no manual.

AAs and the end (top where you normally hold it ) just slides back towards the rear. and do the following to reconnect ...(you might as well change the batteries a this time as well)
This is sort of general but it just may help.
Make sure your batteries are in correctly.
Make sure the transmitter dongle is in the USB.
Look on the transmitter, the mouse and keyboard itself (bottom) for a little tiny button that says connect or reconnect. Move the mouse about six inches away from the transmitter and press both the transmitter and the mouse.
That should reestablish the signal twixt the two.(or three KB)
