Question about Samsung D900i Cell Phone

Samsung D900i - can't display or send photos

I have a Samsung D900i and although I can receive a photo or video, I can't get it to display. Similarly, I can take a photo, but it won't send.
I contacted Samsung and they said my phone wouldn’t have the correct settings for Vodafone NZ and I should take it to a Vodafone store. I did that, but the guy couldn't find out what the settings were.

So I contacted Vodafone NZ and asked them to advise the correct settings for my phone so the photos and videos work correctly. They replied they had settings for Samsung D410, D500 and D500C but not for my phone.

Can you please tell me the correct settings?

Regards

Roger

When recievin photo message will not display and states unsupported content

Hi
as your phone only has a standard VGA camera, it is possible that the pictures your being sent are too large for your phone to display. Can you send MMS? (picture messages) Try taking a photo on your phone and then send it to your own mobile number. This will test that your phone is ok and the problem is related to the actual message your being sent, i.e. file too large. ( in UK max file size is 200kb I believe)
If thats all ok ask the person who is sending you photos to maybe take a photo using less mega pixel setting on their phone, lets say 640x480 resolution (VGA like your phone) and see if you can receive that from them? I have come accross this before on some lower spec Samsungs. Hope that helps?
