3 organge flashes means there is a paper jam.. check everywhere for paper jammed in the machine.. Once you have cleared the jam, press the resume button.

Be careful removing any paper as to not damage the spurs

When I turn on my Canon i560 printer the light blinks orange and green and will not print anything. I've tried to turn it off and on, unplug it and nothing seems to be working. What can I do to fix it?

try this. It is the reset for the waste ink error (8 flashes)

1) With the printer power OFF, while pressing the Resume button, press the Power button. (Do not release the
power button.)
2) While pressing the Power button, release the Resume button, press the Resume button again twice, and then
release the Resume button and Power button.
3) The green indicator flashes during initialization.
When the indicator stops flashing and remains on, press the Resume button 4 times to clear waste ink message.
(The indicator toggles between orange and green each time the Resume button is pressed.)
4) Next, press the Power button, and the green indicator will light, and the function will be executed.
5) Turn off the printer then back on and error should clear.

Hello there wondering if you can help me My power light on my Canon ip2000 keeps flashing green/orange and the print queue stops and nothing is happening. I've powered the printer on/off Also have...

Usually means theres a paper jam or your out of paper or some problem is occurring. While that blinking orange is blinking press and hold it for about 5 seconds the printer should stop blinking orange and continue with the print. Also open up your printer to see if there are any documents that are in the print queue. Probably can delete those. Thats my guess as to whats wrong with the printer. Used to have one of those. Nice little printer remember 12 blacks for 12 bucks.

I have a ip3500 with full tanks that are genuine Canon yet i have a flashing amber light 5 blinks anybody know what i need to do to stop it and get printing again

In general, Canon use a 5 Orange light flashes sequence to signal a Print Head problem.

It may be as simple as adjust the alignment of the print head or removing and re seating the printhead.

You may also have a failure that will require a repair.

My Canon pixma ip 4000 won´t print. The light at the turn on button blinks five times orange and then comes one green blink. I have tried to clean the print head but that didn´t change anything....

this indicates a the print head is not installed correctly or is faulty.

if the green and orange is alternating 5 times then it is caused by the sheet feeder.

My canon i850 is blinking 3 orange lights at me and refusing to print. any ideas. tried turning on and off. removing print driver and re-installing thanks!

3 blinks is a line feed error, something stopping the platen roller from turning, look inside where the paper goes and see if something fell in like an ink pen, paper clip, just something that doesn't belong. The platen roller is the gray roller behind the carriage and sometimes you can see thru under the white plastic guides something jammed.

Have just changed refilled cartrige, alarm light is blinking

The printer does a longer green flash and then the amber flashes. you need to tell me how many flashes between the green flashes, to know what the problem is.
