Trying to add dell photo AIO 962 printer to my toshiba satellite laptop which is running windows 7. have followed dell website instructions to download driver/firmwear etc and chosen vista 32bit under drop down (other choices windows XP or windows 2000). windows softeare said installed ok but when printing said error on Ne03?? thanks

Hi! Regarding this matter. The dell photo AIO 962 may not be compatible with windows 7 thats why it gives you the error message. You downloaded the driver using vista32 but you have a windows 7 on you machine, its not gonna work. It may work on the toshiba if you gonna downgrade from windows 7 to vista, but if you dont want that option you can wait for sometime to have an AIO 962 update for windows 7 for it to work.     i managed to find out on dell website that this printer is currently not compatible but the user forum suggests that upgrading to 64 bit vista drivers can work. i have read various posts about 64bit vista but not being much of a pc wizard the jargon is a bit confusing. i have worked out via settings that my laptop will run 64bit vista but how straight forward is this in lamens terms?

    Ok, you may need to download an hp driver for 64bit vista. If Im not mistaken, you downloaded a 32bit vista on the dropdown right? If the dropdown gives a 64bit vista then thats it, thats what we need. Good luck!

When I try to scan or print a message comes up telling me to ck power and usb connections. I have unplugged and restarted computer 4 times and still have problem


It could be a communications error message, the printer is not communicating with the computer.

  • Disconnect and then reconnect the USB cable.
  • Disconnect and then reconnect the printer power cable.
  • Restart the computer.
  • Remove and reinstall the printer software

    PDell Photo AIO Printer 962 stopped working after windows update


    I had the same issue after downloading the Dell AIO 962 printer update. What worked was using the uninstall mode on the original Dell CD that came with the printer followed by a fresh install from the aforementioned CD. Be sure to uninstall all copies of the drivers before doing the new install. Good Luck!

    Folks, unless you are wanting the All-in-One solution cetner that comes on the CD, you can download the driver from the Dell website and I have included the link, but for some reason it does not take in this note, please go Dell's website and look under support & drivers and the then put in the model information and the driver will be there.

    My Dell AIO 962 Printer does not respond


    The printer is dead and needs replacement. If covered under warranty, u can get a replacement from Dell. Speak to Dell support and they can give you alternative solution.
