Turn on your player and you should see and listen to radio. In this situation press menu key and then select music icon and the select for example all songs. Finally press play button. This picture will help you finding the menu key:
Media players usually can play music depending on the play mode settings. One of these settings is the "shuffle". You can change this with the menu key then choose settings, then repeat mode and set it to mode normal or repeat all. This advise is general and if you couldn't use it, please try to find instructions in the user manual of your device or if you haven't it define the exact type of the product. Thanks. gylacz
The Batteries in these units like all rechargeable batteries only have a certain number of times they can be charged and discharged before begining to fail. Your only option is to replace the battery with a new one. They are cheap to purchase off eBay and YouTube has Videos detailing how to change them.
Turn it on by holding in the power button - it is normal for that model to go to sleep while it is playing, as a powersaving feature - but it shouldn't stop playing the music, the screen should just go away. Usually pressing any key will wake it back up.
The Proline manual (comes on a CD with the player) says:
6.3.7 Key lock
This function sets a time delay from when key lock function is started or the player is switched on, after which the player will automatically stop responding to the control buttons. Pressing any button will then display the message ‘Locked’. Key lock is useful, for example if you put the player in your pocket and don’t want any buttons to be pressed accidentally. The time delay is to let you start playing the music and so on. You can choose a delay of ten or thirty seconds, one, three or ten minutes, or you can disable key lock completely. •
Press and hold the V+ button for a couple of seconds to temporarily unlock the keys.
I had this problem with my player (th 1101) when I was transferring songs from iMesh. After awhile I found out that even though I could listen to the files on the computer some wouldn't go on the mp3 player. Looked it up and there is an encoding on some tracks (preimium tracks they call it) that unless you pay for them they won't transfer off the computer (CD, MP3 players ect.). They also had free tracks that works just fine. Hope that helps
