Question about Tamron 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 for Nikon
I have a Nikon D40X and a tamron 18-200. The autofocus just stops working now and then. Uncoupling the lens and then recoupling fixes it. Very annoying. Also happened on another camera, a Nikon D60.
Is this a known problem or is the lens bad?
Maybe cleaning the gold coloured contacts on the back of the lens and the ones in the camera may help. Worth a try!
