Loses connection w. remote computer I have a laptop one room away. The laptop accesses the internet and printers from this location. Most of the time it works. However, it will suddently lose the conection...

Check if this router is stronng enough interms of it signals. Check on the laptop the signal strength of the conenction.

If the signal strength is poor you can either move closer to the wireless router or vice versa or can get an access poitn to boost the signal.

Wirless going down randomly

Hello ajestrella,

If your connection is a DSL, I think you need a "Micro Filter" to be connected to your phone lines. This will eliminate the disconnection or unwanted signals that causes you network to go off or disconnected. You can request this device from your telephone company.

HP dv6139 loses Inet connection after 5 minutes (both ethernet & router)

Most probably it's the router's fault, if you have one. I've seen many cheap routers randomly loosing wireless connection with their computer clients. Try with another router. One possible solution: upgrade the router's firmware.

Laptop won't connect to wireless

Hello :-)
Try going into device manager, and uninstalling your wireless network adapter.
Reboot your PC. It will automatically reinstall your wireless network card.
Now try your wireless connection. This often solves random wireless issues.
Good luck!

Losing internet connection when I try to connect laptop to wireless router

Your cloning the mac address - thats the problem. It should use it's own mac address to connect to the modem. You need to power down the modem, then repower after a minute or so to let it connect to the new mac address. The problem you are seeing is due to network collisions betweenj the desktop and the router with the modem.
