Question about Iomega (33222) 80 GB Hard Drive
I dropped the hard drive but grabbed the cord so it barely hit the floor but when I try to use it, it only beeps every few seconds and is not recognized on my computer no matter what I do. The light blinks and I can hear the hard drive start up but beeps instead of continuiosly running.
Sometimes even the slightest bump will offset the heads. Difficult to fix and guarantee that the data will be preserved.
