Hi,

Is this a front loading Kenmore or a top loading machine. If you could send me the model number I could make sure I direct you properly. The model number can be found on a tag just under the lid or inside the door.

Thanks!

    Thank you!

Here is how to get the motor off.

-Run the machine in a drain/spin cycle to remove as much water as
    possible

-Unplug the power cord, if you
wish to have more room to work it may be beneficial to remove the hoses
from the machine as well (your call)

    - Tip the machine up so you
can work under the front, be sure to support it so it does not fall on
you. You can also lay the machine down while working on it, just be sure
lay it down slowly and gently.

There is a diagram at the bottom
of these instructions, the numbers in parenthesis on these instructions
refers to the part number on the diagram.

    - In the front center
bottom you will see a white colored pump (22) with 2 hoses on it. There
are spring clips(21) that will release the pump, use a flat blade
screwdriver to pry them off then pull the pump straight off the motor.
You can leave the hoses on or if you want more room you can take them
off, but you will need some towels to clean up the water if you take
    them off.

    - Remove the 2 screws (23) from the clips holding the
motor on. Unclip the wire harness (20) from the motor and pull off, it
    may be stiff.

    - Remove the 2 spring clips (17) from the motor
the same way you took them off the pump. Pull the motor off.

    - Stand machine back up and
    reconnect all hoses and cords.

My wipers will not turn off on 02 Volvo S80

If that's the original wiper motor (and not some replacement motor that might not work right in that car), find the wiper motor. Now find a replacement motor and swap it out.

Inside the wiper motor is an automatic "park" circuit; one wire feeds power to the motor at all times. The park circuit in that motor can't detect when it's parked, so it keeps trying.

Hot tub run on hgh for 7 mins or so then shuts off for 3 mins or so then comes back on when i try to turn it back on before the 3 mins is up hear a click

Was your motor just replaced? I see this issue from time to time. It is caused by the pump overheating. You've either got clogged vents, very rare unless you have a rat problem in the spa, or your motor was replaced with one that has less hp.

ex. Either a spa repair company trying to make more money, or a home owner trying to save money deside to replace a 2.5 HP motor with a 1.5 HP motor with out changing the wet end. Now you have a smaller motor trying to push the origanal imperller. Result is motor overheats, thermal overload kicks the motor off, motor cools and comes back on to start the cycle over again.

Merit 725t treadmill turns on but the motor is struggling with no weight on the machine

THIS SOUNDS LIKE A DEAD MOTOR, TRY TROUBLESHOOTING THE MOTOR BY REMOVING THE MOTOR COVER AND REMOVING THE BELTS FROM THE MOTOR THEN TRY COMMANDING THE MOTOR TO ROTATE (USING THE CONTROL BOARD) IF IT STILL SLOACHES THEN THE MOTOR IS INDEED DEFFECTIVE.

What is Lr error code

I’ll post this in reference to Troubleshooting an Lr error code associated to the FAV6800AW/FAV9800AW.

Lr = Locked Rotor error “”Locked Rotor: The machine has repeatedly tried to turn the motor””. This could be caused by faulty Motor Controller, Motor, Control Board or issues in communication of the Control Board to the Motor Controller/Motor via the wiring harness. Here are a couple of links to support troubleshooting efforts; Service Manual for reference. Sears Parts Direct for parts reference.

I’m an owner like you and I worked vai e-mail a while back with an owner that was experiencing a constant “Lr” error code on their FAV6800AW. That person ended up replacing the Motor Controller after replacing the motor that did not fix the issue. You could try the Motor Control Board Output Test on page 15 and others checks on page 16 of the SM.
Unfortunately the SM gives very little support in troubleshooting this issue. If you decide to troubleshoot first pull the plug on the 120VAC to the machine. You could try reseating the plug on the motor and the plugs going into the Motor Controller. This could be a hard one to troubleshoot without a known good Motor Controller, Motor and Control Board to substitute. If you are a DIY’er and have an DVM you could try the troubleshooting steps on page 15&16 of the SM.
If it were my issue and the SM troubleshooting steps did not help fault isolate the failed component I would pick up a Motor Controller from ebay (90 day warranty type) and try that first with my fingers crossed, not the way I like to troubleshoot. The Motor and Control Board are under warranty by Maytag for 5 years from DOP. I believe the Motor Control Board is under warranty for only 2 years. Maytag Customer Service contact info is at the back of the SM. Good Luck.
