SOURCE: Programming GE corded speakerphone

I fixed this just now on my phone, while seeking a solution here.
- Do not do what you'd think... putting the phone and name info first. It looks like it will take this info but it won't. That's where the frustration comes from.
- Dial the PHONE# FIRST.
- THEN click STORE.
- Then click the location (A-C or 0-8... save 9 for 911 if you don't have a red emergency key).
- Then click STORE again.
- Then type in the phone number again... this works, though there's probably a way to do it w.o putting in the number twice... but since it works, don't sneer at the free advice :) LOL.
- Then click Store
- Then type in the NAME
- Then Store.

Done. Repeat for other names/numbers. Now that you have it down, you can figure out how to do this without entering the phone number twice... but since I have a busy day, I'm just doing it this way.

Best wishes!

I want change my email id and password of shareapic.net how i can change it

Alost all programs will allow you to change the PASSWORD, but you would have to set up a NEW account (ID) with a new password ( the program will say that the old one is taken!) but a trick. If you like the old password... use it but add an ABC, OR any other combo of letters that you will remember or add a 123,etc, 987,etcto the ending of your old password if it ends in letters. ( example:: banners=baners123, banners987, banners123ABC,.....EVEN BETTER:: bAnNeRs123 (notice same name but alternate capital letters)
In short...get your self a new account(ID) and password

How do I input names on address screen in all CAPS

When you are at the "Enter Name" screen while adding a contact to your Phone Book, press the "*" key to switch between modes. You can check which mode you are in by looking at the box in the upper-righthand corner.

"Abc-W" mode will capitalize the first letter of each word
"Abc-S" mode will capitalize the first letter of each sentence
"ABC" mode will enter in all capital letters
"abc" mode will enter in all lower case letters
"123" mode will enter only numbers

You may switch between modes while entering the name if , for instance, you need to switch between letters and numbers,

ID fading unable to see number or letters, can this problem be solved?

Try putting new batteries in the handset. Many phones will dim their displays when the batteries start to run low in order to save power.

Hope that helps!

When entering names, I seem to have no control over letter buttons

Many better phones have a function that tries to put the word the phone thinks you want in the phone. I don't know what it is called on Sony ... on LG it is often called T9. Other modes include "ABC", Abc". "123" and "symbol".

Check the label of the soft keys on your screen.

Have you asked your service provider about this issue???

There are several methods used to entering letters and numbers in test messages or SMS. Generally speaking, there is "ABC" mode where you select each letter by pressing a key several times until you get the letter you want. There are several "ABC" modes ... there is "ABC". "Abc" and "abc" all related to capitalization rules you want to follow.

Another method is called in a lot of LG models, "T9" where the phone uses a built in dictionary to select the word you want with only one press on the key. The phone will try to select a word, but it may not be correct after you pressed all the letters. There is a "next" key, usually the "0" which will roll through the words available until you find what you want. I use a modified T9 method. Some times I want a word that is not in the dictionary so I enter part of the word, then space, then clear and enter the next part of the word to get what I want.

Other data entry methods are "123" and symbols. Use your telephone 'soft keys' to make these selections according to instructions on the screen.

You may need to visit your service provider store for additional assistance in operating your telephone.

My blitz doesnt text

Try this. Touch Keypad simulates a wireless phone keypad on the touch screen to allow you to enter text, numbers, and symbols just as if you were using a wireless phone keypad. Touch Keyboard simulates a 20-key QWERTY (typewriter) keyboard on the touch screen to allow you to enter text, numbers, and symbols similar to the way you would using a QWERTY keyboard. To use Touch Keypad or Touch Keyboard:  In a program, tap the Input Selector arrow, and then tap Touch Keypad or Touch Keyboard. To type lowercase letters, tap the keys on the dial pad or keyboard. To type a single uppercase letter, tap the Shift key and then tap the corresponding key. To type all uppercase letters, tap the Shift key twice. To change back to all lowercase letters, tap again. To enter a space after the word, tap the Space key. To start a new line, tap the Enter key. To backspace and delete a single character in any input mode, press the Back key. To open the Symbol pad, tap the Symbol key. To change the input mode:  Tap the Input mode key to switch to a different input mode: XT9 (predictive), Multitap (abc), or Numeric (123).

Hope this helps, let me know if this works or if I can help you with anything else.
