Hotsync problem

Hello,

I had this problem before and you all helped me and I don't remember exactly what to do. My battery died on my palm (Sony CLIE PEG SJ20). After charging my battery and then trying to hotsync to load my programs back there is no local or modem buttun to click and if you click the hotsync button it says that it's unable to initiate b/c the port is in use by another application. I know that I push the reset button on the back, but then I'm not sure what to do. Also, my battery takes so long to charge and if I leave it for awhile, it still is never fully charged.
