Check the 2 wire that runs from inside unit to outdoor unit for damage. Then check the indoor unit for a circuit board with a blown fuse. If no display it means no 24 v is going from heater to thermostat

Drain plug on a 2002saab a\c unit.

All A/C units drain water and need a clear path to drain water. If window unit the unit MUST lean to the outside so the condensation water can drain that direction and insure the drain hole is clear of debree. If an indoor central a/c unit the drain must be clogged the unit is leaning away from drain or the pipe going to the drain is clogged somewhere as it exits house. Cant drain if doesn't have a clear path to do it's job. Doubt it's a problem with the brand.

5e code displayed someone came and looked at it - everything was fine - ran through a cycle and showing the code again

Hi,

This is what I found for you:

5E WATER DRAIN ERROR 5E is displayed if the water level frequency detected is 25 KHz or less in the initial phase of the UNB -detecting cycle. The Water Drain error can be cleared by turning POWER SW OFF and back ON.

Check your drain system and verify the unit can drain water. If you have too, remove the drain hose and drain into a bucket to verify it can drain. This could be from some obstruction within the hose or air-gap or disposal, however you unit drains. Good Luck

Water on floor from ac unit

Hi John,

First, water from an A/C unit is normal, and is created when warm, moist air is passed over a cold surface (like a glass of cold water sweats sitting in a warm room). This is called condensation.

Solve the issue by making sure the unit is tilted slightly back - towards the outside. This allows the condensation that drips off the cold coil will land on the bottom of the case and roll towards the rear - which is outside.

Once it is tilted back, inspect the underside of the outside portion of the unit. You should find several openings designed to allow the water to drain out and fall to the ground. Over time, these holes can become clogged with dust, dirt, spiders, etc. Simply insert a small screwdriver into the hole(s) - just enough to clear the obstruction.

If the unit is draining water out the back to the outdoors AND also inside, water can not drain fast enough from the A/C. You may not have cleared all the openings outside and / or not have provided enough of an angle to the tilt. Locate and clear the additional openings and make the tilt adjustments as needed.

Make sure the filter is clean! A dirty filter can cause the A/C to eventually ice up - providing only partial cooling. When the unit is shut off, the ice will rapidly melt and may do so faster than the water can drain outside - leaving puddles on your floor again.

I hope this helps!

My window airconditioner sounds like it has water in it and now its spitting out water in the room?

This can be caused by 2 things:

The drain pan hole is clogged and water is backing up in the pan. Look under the outside part of the AC unit for the drain hole and clear it. It may be hard to find, as the clog will blend in with the hole.

The unit was installed incorrectly and the outside portion (outside the wall) of the unit is not tilted down 1/4" to 1/2". Which allows the water to run to the drain plug.

Correcting either or both of the above 2 things, should solve the problem.

Problem with the Samsung Washing Machines The machine keeps coming up with the message HEI 10x

Here is a list of errors for your machine.

I hope they help you.

SAMSUNG WASHING MACHINES, ERROR FUNCTIONS

When an error occurs, the alarm noise will sound and the error code displayed in the program window. Listed below is a series of error codes you may or may not see for your model of Samsng Washing Machine. The errors are shown as blinking in O.5 second intervals until the error status has cleared. In this case, all the driving devices are turned off until the error is cleared.

1. WATER SUPPLY ERROR - Display shows 4E.

Water Supply Error occurs when water level frequency does not show changes more than 100Hz or water is not supplied up to the preset water level after 10 Minutes or more at the time of initial water supply. The error status can be cleared by turning the POWER switch OFF and back ON.

2. WATER DRAIN ERROR - Display shows 5E.

5E is displayed if the water level frequency detected is 25 KHz or less in the initial phase of the UNB -detecting cycle. The Water Drain error can be cleared by turning POWER SW OFF and back ON.

3. OVER-FLOW ERROR - Display shows oE.

Over-Flow error occurs when the water level is too high. It can be cleared by turning POWER switch OFF. Water is drained prior to POWER switch OFF. The tub is drained for 2 minutes if a frequency of more than 25 KHz is detected.

4. UNBALANCE ERROR - Display shows UE.

Laundry load is unbalanced, manually loosen any tangled laundry.

If only one item of clothing needs washing, such as a bathrobe or jeans, the final spin result might be unsatisfactory and an UE error message will be shown in the display. Unbalance error is cleared by POWER switch OFF and back ON.

5. WATER HEATER ERROR - Display shows HE, HE1.

HE, HE1 is displayed if the water temperature rises by 7 C or more in 1 Min or by 2 C or less 20 Min after heating process has started. The error can be cleared by turning POWER switch OFF.

6. WATER PRESSURE SWITCH ERROR - Display shows 1 E.

* Generated Frequency Signal of WATER LEVEL (WIL) SIW (KHz)

Normal Level = Abnormal W/L Frequency
Low Level = 30.00 Khz
High Level = 15.00 Khz

If the same signal is detected for more than 5 seconds, it is a PRESSURE SWITCH Error. When this error occurs the drain pump will operate for 3 min. and the display will show 1 E indicating a pressure switch error.

7. ABNORMAL WATER TEMPERATURE ERROR- Display shows cE.

e.g. If the water temperature is 50 C or more, during a Delicate or Wool cycle.

At the time of initial water supply, if the water temperature is not appropriate, the display will show cE. This error can be cleared by POWER SWITCH OFF.

8. WATER LEAKAGE ERROR - Display shows 11 E.

Water Leakage error occurs when the water drains naturally, (by leakage) after the washing program starts.

9. THERMISTOR ERROR - Display shows tE

I purchased and LG Model# LP1010SNR on 8-3-10 at Home Depot. It was a floor model and did not come with an owners manual. It has a digital display screen. It is intended to run for several hours at a time...

What happens on this unit is it will suddenly stop followed by a series of chimes. You can reset the unit, but it will end with the same set of chimes. My unit display had a P2 code. As mentioned above, I drained the water (small amount actually) in the shower. Note: There is a cap towards tha bottom of the unit that you will need to unscrew, then pull out the rubber plug. Fired up the unit after the water drain ... it worked fine. If they can make a GI Joe talk ... why can this unit simply say ... "Please Drain". P2 is so intuitive.

I have a Weather King AC/Furnace in the attic that's dripping water into the drain pan. When we purchased our new house it came with this unit and it never dripped ater. Now, the water is dripping towards...

I assume it is dripping water when the AC is running. If you look at the attic unit, there should be a PVC pipe running from the unit - probably an insulated PVC pipe. This pipe probably goes across the attic to the edge of the house and drains outside. The drain pan may also have a drain pipe, but the one on the AC unit is the issue, and is probably plugged. Go outside and see if you can locate the AC drain pipe. See if the ground is wet below the pipe and if water is steadily dripping from the pipe (with AC running). If the pipe and ground are dry, the pipe is plugged. If you have a wet/dry vac, try connecting it to the drain pipe outside to see if you can **** the pluggage out. If you can get it clear, water should start dripping out of the pipe. This same thing happened at our house. I decided to cut the pipe in the attic, and add in a PVC isolation valve, tee, and water hose connection with plug, so I can valve out the AC unit from the pipe, remove hose connection plug, and hook up a water hose and flush the line to outside. Lowe's sells all of the PVC pipe fittings. The water pressure from the hose will always flush out the algae and crud to the outside of the house. I can also remove the plug and pour a cup of bleach down the drain pipe every couple of months to keep algae growth in check. I also cut out the trap (u-leg) from pipe in the attic and purchased a ready made trap a Lowes (the contractor who built our house had made a lousy homemade trap). I purchased a few PVC elbows and installed the trap on the drain pipe outside. By the way, our AC drain pipe comes out of our wall outside and drains near our outside unit. Our secondary drain pan drain pipe comes out outside from an eave on the side of the house. I don't know what you drain line looks like (it may have a port to add bleach, or some cleanout provisions, maybe not). If you choose to modify/improve it, then make a sketch of it, go to Lowe's and get the PVC parts you need + PVC pipe primer and cement. PVC cement dries fast. Remember, the pipe must flow downhill from you AC attic unit. You can use a regular wood saw to cut the pipe. I hope this helps you. You need to keep the drain line clear as algae will continue to grow in it. Pouring bleach in the line every month or two helps. You also need to check maybe once a month that the line is draining properly (check to see if dripping outside). You can get some serious water damage to your ceilings if the water backs up and overflows. I discovered that our drain line was plugged just in time as our drain pan drain line was also partially plugged and drain pan was about to overflow.

My ac unit still not turning on even when I reset. How many times should I hit the reset botton?

make sure your drip pan is not filled with water.
This can cause the "float switch" to shut your unit off to prevent water from leaking all over the place.
Simply use a wet vac to unclog the pvc drain line located outside by the condenser. sometimes these lines get buried. check for water around the outside (condenser) unit.

Press and hold the turbo button while plugging in the unit. The AC will cycle through a few tests and mine showed that it had excess water. I have long vinyl tubing so the unit could drain outside the window but it thought whenever it would start or stop there was excess water (thus stopping the flow). I drained the excess water out of the line and voila
