Question about Husqvarna 28CC Handheld BlowerVac

1 Answer

Husqvarna Leaf Blower won't start

I was running leaf blower and it stopped. I thought it was out of gas. The gas was low, not out, so I filled it up. It has not started since. I have cleaned the plug. The plug is wet, so I believe it is getting gas. This model has a stop switch and I wonder if this switch is stuck on "stop"? Is that possible?

Yes, it is. i suggest checking to make sure the plug is firing--you can check by removing it, plugging it back into the plug wire and resting the threads of the plug on any ground--usually right outside the spot where the plug screws in. have someone pull the cord while you see if the plug fires. DON'T touch the plug while the engine is being cranked. also, even if you see a spark, it may not fire inside the engine. if the spark is weak, you may want to put in a new one.

This part fits your Leaf Blower. Husqvarna fuel filter. If the fuel filter is clogged, it willrestrict the flow of fuel to the carburetor. As a result, the engine may not start.

Husqvarna 125b won't prime and run unless upside down. If turned right side up it dies. If I prime it when it's right side up it blows bubbles in the tank.

Try a new gas cap. There needs to be air behind the liquid in a vacuum (think plumbing) or it does not flow. Make sure you've replaced all the cracked lines. Allowing air into the vacuum will also stop the flow. It's one of these.

Why is it failing?

open gas cap and see if it will run again. m,any times the gas tank vents clog and the engine can't draw gas after a few minutes.
another thought is the oil mixture.. 50:1 with oil made for air cooled engines....not boat engine oil

HUSQVARNA 130BT GAS BLOWER STARTS FINE, BUT LOSES POWER WHEN I TRY TO USE????

Sounds like a fuel starvation problem, Strip and clean carb. Avoid using airlines to clean carbs. remove low and high adjustment screws, reset to factory settings. Walbro carbs are generally scew both of them back in all the way and then turn out 2 full turns each anticlockwise.

Husqvarna model 125b Hand held blower (Gas) No

If you have tried a new spark plug and you still have no spark, then your Ignition Coil, (Module) has gone bad. They aren't cheap if you buy it new. Try to find a used one if you can for around $10.

Good Luck!

Gas blowback through the air filter

A certain amount of "spit back" is not abnormal in a 2 stroke engine without a reed valve (like the engine on your 155BT). If the engine runs well I wouldn't worry about it. However, this condition can be aggravated by an engine with a worn or stuck ring (other symptoms would behard to start and low power) or by running the engine at wide open throttle without load (pretty much impossible to do with a blower unless you block the outlet or have severe fan damage).
