Question about GE Spacemaker JVM1640SJ Microwave Oven
Inside the cabinet above your microwave, usually you will have 2-3 lag bolts screwed through the bottom of cabinet into the microwave top. After these are removed, you will have to pick the bottom of the microwave up and tilt outward and up. The back of the microwave is attached to a bracket on the wall and this is why it has to be tilted and pushed up off the bracket. Get an extra hand for this, it's not heavy just awkward. When installing a new one the old bracket will work with the new one.
