Hello,

I advice you go online in starbucks website to see if there is provision for parts on there web sites, because many company do list the parts of there products that are available for one to buy incase their is damage.

If that did not help matters, you can also walk to any service center of the product and ask for the parts, sure, they will provide it for if available.

Take care.

I need a new carafe for my starbucks barista aroma grande coffemaker

Starbucks has posted the following on their site:

All Starbucks Barista-branded espresso machines, brewers and grinders have reached the end of their time under warranty, and we can no longer support the replacement of defective parts or products. We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause:

http://www.starbucks.com/customer-service/faqs/shop

You will need to find a replacement from a secondary parts supplier and may have to select a similar product from another brand.

You could look here for some possibles:

I need a manual for Capresso 455 CoffeeTEAM Therm Stainless Coffeemaker/Burr Grinder Combination.

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, and a list of Dealers for spare parts, as required.

Just Google the manufacturer's name and follow the links. Make certain you are directed to the manufacturer's web site as some search engines direct you to other sites and they charge for the information that is normally free of charge.

I hope this helps.

What piece to use to cut things very finely such as oranges and cranberries?

Hi,

I use an old meat grinder with a medium cutter on the end.... that is the way my grandmother taught me to do it and I still do it today...

BTW, I add some apples in with the cranberries and oranges also....and, leaving the peel on the oranges give it a bit more flavor and adds some color to the mix....\

There are places that you can still buy those old grinders....haven't found anything that works as good as they do for some things....

Plastic ring is broken inside coffee pot - replacement lid or complete pot is needed for 12 cup barrista unit. Thanks.

I read in a web blog that Starbucks will send you the needed parts (for free) for the coffee pot if you contact them and let them know what your problem is. Here's their site:

Good luck, and hope this helps.

I have an Orbit OPM 700 Meat Grinder & Sausage Maker. It needs a new "Snake" as it has rough edges and bits of metal are coming off, so it's currently not safe to use. I have sent 3 emails...

I have also a Orbit opm700 and have been trying to locate smaller tubes without success. Like you, I have e mailed Orbit twice without any response - so much for after sales service. I think the only alternative is to source a separate sausage stuffer - unless anyone knows different!

It seems withthis model you have a 1 year or 4000 cups warranty with this.
If you are within this, then give them a call - here is the Manual if you don't have it -
MANUAL -

I suggest you start by removing the beans in the hopper and wiping around to remove oils.
Then refill with fresh dry beans.
Plug in and set up as normal
Set to brew a standard large cup - and adjust grinder to coarse setting while grinding.
Do not adjust with grinder quiet - it must be done while rotating.

Make at least 10 cups this way at the coarse setting.

I think what has happened is that damp beans (frozen or cold) have entered the unit and caused the coffee to gum up at the top of the burr.
This will just push fresh beans out of the way instead of starting to grind them.

If you use dry (light loast) beans, it doesn't seem to happen as much.

Just ake sure you refrigerate most of your stocks, but keep a small stock at room temperature in an airtight tin to prevent this kind of thing.

You can actually push down on the bean stack slightly with a wooden object while the grinder is running if nothing moves on the coarse setting to get things moving.
