Question about Western Digital 320GB MyBook External USB 2.0 Hard Drive
Worked fine, but when I plugged it in it said the device wasn't recognised and it had malfunctioned, there is something also rattling inside, i have the western digital 320gb my book, how can I fix this?
Sounds like your drive may be faulty with the rattling - if I were you I'd back up everything off it pretty quickly, then send the drive back to western Digital if under warranty. I wouldnt open it otherwise your warranty will almost certainly be void.
