Question about Baby Lock Esante
Hi. The touch screen on my Baby lock Esant'e model ESe, has gotten out of calibration. You have to touch way above the picture to get it to do what you want. How can I reacalibrate it? Do you know?
To make matters worse when I was trying to figure out how to fix it I touched the English button and now It is in French. I can't get it back to English. It is like both touch points of the buttons at the top of the screen are not even on the screen front. I have tried and tried but can not find the place where the English button is. It always comes up in French or Itallian. I would be ok with having to push above the picture if I could just get it back in English. I have tried to push as high on the screen as I can but it always comes back in French.
Can any one help me?????

Yes, I have a solution for this problem. Your screen needs to be recalibrated and you can do it yourself. Don't you wish they would just tell you this stuff instead of charging you an arm and a leg? Here's what to do: Before turning on the machine, press the start/stop button, the reverse button, and the needle position button all at once with one hand (one finger on each button). Hold them down and turn on the machine. What will come up is a recalibration screen. You will see the numbers 1-5 with a little plus sign beside them. Find a small blunt object (I used the tip of a mechanical pencil with the lead in instead of out) and while holding the start/stop button, touch the plus sign beside 1-5 in numerical order. Then, turn the machine off and on again in the normal way. This should recalibrate the screen. Pass it along, people! This is something no one should have to pay for!

Check that the button used to snip your thread at the end of your seam is not stuck. Mine will sometimes stick and if I just touch it again it will again activate and the red start/stop button will work again.
