Question about Kenmore 63942 Dryer
Dryer will not heat. Just spins without igniting.
Hi, If you have a gas dryer.
The most common problem with a gas and no heat is the ignitor going bad...

SOURCE: Dryer lights, then no heat.
You have to use a voltmeter to troubleshoot the circuit components. There is no way to know which part is failing without performing this task

SOURCE: no heat to a gas dryer
Sounds like the problem is the solenoid coils on your gas valve. easy to replace and inexpensive + common. their are 2 coils on the valve that have 2 wires each going to them. Let me know if you have any other questions,

Sounds like the flame detector sensor may have failed, but you really need a multimeter to test the components in the circuit to make sure you replace the right partt
