Where is the DVD emergency eject hole for DVD724?

If there is an eject hole, you should be able to see it on the front of the drive.

Will not eject

If it is your CD drive that you are having problems ejecting then fixing this is no problem. Take a paper clip and straighten it out. Insert the paper clip into the small hole that is next to the eject button. You may need to push fairly hard but the tray will come out.

Check whether you have removed the disc from the laptop
If you are having dificulties in taking the disc out besids the drive tray there will be a small hole.Use a paper clip and press gently into that hole so that the drive will get ejected forcefiully.
aafter the disc is taken out try to boot the system

My PC won't allow me to right click to choose the eject option for a CD. I want to know if there is a way to remove the CD manually.

The DVD drive itself has a small horizontal 'eject' button that you can press to eject the disc.
If the button fails the disc is stuck however the DVD drive will have a small hole near the eject button- about 2mm in diameter. Straighten a paperclip or similar and push into the hole until the disc drive mechanism releases and opens.

DVD will not eject

To eject a disc.
  1. Use the eject option in the menu bar by selecting open from the drop down menu.
  2. Press the eject or F12 key on the keyboard.
  3. Open the drive face plate and insert the end of a paperclip into the small hole under the drive tray area. This will pop the tray open.

How to open tray when it don't want to open

You can manually eject the tray, you have to take the faceplate off to do this, but here is the instructions:

DVDR 3350H KEEP READING AND WON'T EJECT DISC

Look under the faceplate where the disc tray ejects and see if there is a small hole. If so, use a straightened paper clip to eject the disc manually by pushing it into the hole about an inch. If that works, then reset the power on the unit and try a nonrecorded type disc to see if the unit works at all.

Other than that, you'll have to take the unit apart to get your disc out.

Hope that helps...
