Question about Music

1 Answer

I purchased a model 215V wurlitzer black classroom electronic piano at an auction. It sounds great and clear. it is missing both horizontal legs that attatch to the bottom left and bottom rt side. the vibrato nob is missing, the sustain pedal needs to be attached. Any ideas where to find these parts? I would also like to get it professionally tuned.

Finding those leg parts will be near impossible. If possible either make them or have a cabinet shop make them for you. The sustain pedal might have been attached via those missing leg parts.

For knobs, try the surplus electronic online stores like Electronic Golmine.com to find something suitable.

You can also try asking on the organforum.com.

Where can I get a users manual for a Wurlitzer Model 565 organ?

There is a Wurlitzer 565 in perfect condition onE bay with an owners manual. If you contact the owner perhaps they can give you some contact info inside the manual on where to get a duplicate. or for a fee perhaps they can make you a copy. If not The Wurlitzer Co. was originally from North Tonawanda, NY. I Lived there for years. It is now a museum. "The Wurlitzer Factory." If you google it you can contact them and they may be able to help you. good luck in your search.

Try this: http://www.amazon.com/Wurlitzer-Organ-owners-manual-model/dp/images/B002UJXFYM
Afterwards, if this is NOT what you want, open up a browser window, type in google.com and then, enter Wurlitzer 4300 Owner's Manual. Amazing, huh?

Have a wurlitzer model 4300 d no sound, appears to start , not tried to fix purchased in the 60"s

NOT FOR BEGINNERS
These old organs need careful handling - try any visible fuses. Probably cheaper to replace with a modern keyboard which can do far more - sad to say! Sorry

They should be commercial screws, probably metric. You would need to find out the pitch (with a gauge), diameter, length and head type from one of the other screws. Usually all Boss products share parts, so the parts could be scavenged from an old, useless pedal. The missing knob, too. As for the internals and electronics, take it to a tech. Amp techs sometimes accept checking pedals.
