The internal parts of the solenoid valve are bad.if your standing in front of the machine look to the right in the back you will see the water line going to the valve.turn the water off, remove the black coil and set aside, then unscrew the valve with a pair of channelocks or pipe wrench.clean all the parts up and reinstall.if this doesnt do the trick you need to replace those parts.let me know.

Do all Hobart dishwashers have a element in them for wash water and rinse water

All Hobart dishwashers will have a wash tank heating element, but the rinse water is not heated by the dishwasher, unless it has a built-in booster heater. Usually a separate booster heater is used to heat rinse water to 180-190 deg. F for hot water sanitation.

Can I change the 3 phase to a single phase?

Not practical. You would have to change the pump motor to single phase, you'd have to chage the heating element most likely depending on what size is in it now. Also does it require an auxiliary water heater? it's probably 3 phase also. Changing phases is not like changing voltages.

My hobart 42 in. AM14C-154 Freestanding Dishwasher is missing the pipe part and the three face needs to be changed to a singe face.

You can get the parts at your local Hobart office. It would be very costly to change the unit to single phase. Click on "Locate an office" and type in your zip.

Hobart am14 water runs through it all the time

If water is running even with the machine turned off then your solenoid valve needs to be cleaned out or rebuilt. This valve is in the back top of the machine by the gauge.

Hobart dishwasher am14c constant water

You have a defective inlet water fill solenoid, DO NOT TRY TO REBUILD THE OLD ONE, REPLACE THE SOLENOID. Unless you are a VERY EXPERIENCED service tech. These solenoids are always going out and are not that hard to change, but they are really complicated to rebuild. Don't be cheap, get a new solenoid.LOL...I am a service tech. and change these valves all the time...Hope this helps....GOD BLESS....Randy...
