Question about LaCie Design by F. A. Porsche 160 GB Hard Drive
I deleted the partition and found a program to recover the files. I want to format it so I can use it but can't do so. Any help would be appreciated. I have recovery software that sees it but gives me no option to format the drive.
Do u have windows installed?
if u do, go to administrative tools, devise managment, select disk managment, your partition should be listed there, with the format option when u right click on it.
if u dont have windows, u need to get a live cd, you can use linux live cds (puppy for biginers), and use gparted to format the partiton, or if you are not familior with linux, you can use winpe mini cd, it haves hirens boot disk with many tools dedicated for partitioning. gd luck
