My C653 does the same thing too. I also have a Kodak EasyShare CX7525 which gives me the same problem. When they do cut on, they drain the batteries immediately. I mean I take 2 pictures, and the batteries are gone... rechargable or regular batteries bought from the store. Kodak will not help. The warranties just ran out, so Kodak said it will be $95 for both cameras just to be looked at, not necessarily fixed. The cameras were nice while they lasted, which was unfortunately not for a very long time.

I think your cams board is shorted try to clean the board, check for loose connection inside your cams maybe kodak makes some defects so we will by a new one

hope this will help a little

Camera works fine until i plug it into the printer, at that moment the LCD screen goes off and wont come on again so i can't print any pictures

Normally there is a kodak software you run on the PC and it show you the pics from the camera. Your trying to print directly to the printer without a PC? If so then you would use the printer menu.

UPDATE: Found the 310 user manual online from the Kodak site.

Kodak easyshare M893 IS will not stay on. The battery has been charged and replaced, however, when the camera is turned on the green light comes on, the "Kodak EasyShare" screen appears for a second or...

Make sure that you are installing a fresh/ full charge battery
Here are the steps:
1. Make sure you will install a new or fully charged battery/batteries into your camera.
2. Clean the battery contacts.
a. Remove the battery/batteries and the memory card from your camera, then wipe the battery contacts with a soft, clean cloth.
b. Reinstall the battery/batteries into your camera
3. Without the memory card, turn on your camera.
4. Pls test with an alt. batt.
If you do not have access to a dif. battery.
Pls. take the batt out of the camera. Insert the charger into the unit from the main socket and turn the camera on. If the camera works you will need to replace the batt. If not you will need to order a No power repair.

The lens comes out then the camera turns off

Your camera has it own doctor built in, if it sees an internal error it will shut down. When a camera turns on it goes through a series of tests, if one of these test fails your camera records an error. If the lens is moving in and out your camera is trying to get the lens to function. As such you have a faulty camera.

Camera immediatly shuts off and lense goes back in.

Sounds to me that ist is more of a charger issue. Try to borrow another charger and see if that works or not.
