I've never seen anyone on the forum post anything about the Epson 3100Z
camera. I bought one because of the good deal I got and am really pleased
with it.
My wife grows orchids and was always complaining about her EOS Rebel not
capturing the true color of the flowers. I have had excellent results with
the color matching and am very impressed with the camera. The only problem
that I have with it is that it takes forever to store a photo in .tif
format.
The battery seems to last forever too. It came with Alkaline batteries but
I bought some NI-MH batteries and I have't had to recharge yet. I have
probably taken 500 photos.
Has anyone else had any experiences with this camera?
Don D.
File sizes about 500 KB still excellent. I shoot about 300 photos in 128 MB.

them to put it on special order for me. Those of us who purchase an
Epson camera do so after some research, we're not the type who let a
salesman *sell* us a camera.
Epson try and sell their printers etc. But for some reason don't seem
to worry about cameras. If they did, they would ensure they got the
shops to stock them.

never understood why you don't hear much about Epson when it comes to
digital cameras. Have read a few great reviews in the past on them, but
don't understand why there aren't more. Oh well, we're the lucky ones -
they're missing out - ha!
