Get a round toothpick, break off the sharp end and put a small dab of "Crazy Glue" on the end of the cut off toothpick.
Then insert the toothpick into the head phone jack hole till it touchs the ball, wait approximatly 1 minute and pull the toothpick with the ball out of the head phone jack.
Be sure not to touch the sides of the head phone jack hole with the "Crazy Glue" .
Good luck, I hope this helped
Please rate me, Thank you

Hi, To remove the sim card on your iPhone, you have to have a pin or needle if you don't have the sim ejector that came with it. It's in the top most part of the phone and all iPhone sim trays are located there except for the iPhone 4 which is on the right side.

See the picture.

My i phone 2g stuck in headphone what can i do for it?

Some times dust and dirt get stuck int he headphone jack and make the sensor think the headset is still in the phone. If you look inside there are little metal pieces usually bronze in color some times you can take a tooth pick or a paper clip and gently press on them and get what ever is stuck in there out. If you get that to work i would suggest blowing gently into the headset jack before plugging anything in to help that from happening again. Sometimes you can take a can of compressed air and get the stuff out to. If that dose not work the jack might need to be replaced.

My iphone 3gs 16gb keeps saying "this accessory is not optimized for this phone" and nothing is connected

you should try to clean out the headphone jack, and the charger part on the bottom
try going to an office supply store like staples or office depot, and buy a can of computer duster, it is compressed air which really helps to get the stuff out
another thing to do is to hold the home and lock button at the same time for about 10 seconds until you see the apple icon, then release and it should be back to normal

How do I open my i-Phone to repair a damaged earphone socket?

Are you sure it is damaged? Try cleaning the socket with compressed air, or a cotton swab which has been dipped in rubbing alcohol. If you are certain that it is damaged, then the following guides may help.

New Iphone G3 how to insert my sim card from another mobile phone?

Here are the steps:

First, on the top of the iPhone, in between the power button and the headphone jack, there's a fine oblong-shaped line which is actually the SIM tray. In order to pull it out, you need to insert the SIM eject tool (or the paper clip) on the very tiny hole you'll find just beside the headphone jack. Push until the tray pops out.

Don't worry, this is completely safe, that is the only way you can pull it out, just be gentle with your iPhone.

Once the tray pops out, pull it out completely and replace the SIM with any SIM you want.

When you're putting it back, remember that the tiny hole should be closer the the headphone jack (or the SIM carrier logo should be facing the front of the iPhone), and also make sure that everything is completely aligned. Don't force it if it get stuck, just pull it out again, and gently put it back.

IPhone 3GS: suddenly music only on the left

hi. i can help you. begin by cleaning out the little hole your ear buds plug into. Carefully clean the jack hole with a needle or a tough pick. It allowed me to remove a lot of cotton like dust. if that doesnt solve it go into your phone menu under audio settings and see if you have adjusted the balance to cause your problem.
also, You can try removing any debris that might be in the headphone jack by plugging and unplugging the headphones a few times.
If the issue is not caused by debris in the headphone jack, request repair/replacement of the Apple Earphones with Mic online here:

You can also request service by making a reservation with a Genius here: call AppleCare U.S. iPhone technical support at: 1-800-MY-IPHONE (1-800-694-7466)
