All the lights come on but the machine does not wash

The problem could be 1) The inlet solinoid in line with the main water inlet faulty this acts as an electrical tap controling the inlet water. 2) The triggering of the anti flood system (polysireene float and micro switch at the base of washer) due to water leak / spill (this device causes the washer to stop until the leak is cleared.3) Water pressure to low.

Error code 30 is showing on our zanussi ZDF 511 dishwasher, this is Anti Flood warning what could be casuing this, lack of water to machine maybe ?. thanks

This is pretty complex machine and you would need to have and be able to use a multimeter to check some of the components. The error code retrieved is shown in the service manual as follows. Inconsistency between level on electronic pressure switch and level on anti-boiling pressure switch 2 Possible Causes are ; Pressure switch defective; Electrical current leak between heating element and ground; Heating element; Wiring defective; Main board defective. Unplug the appliance and take the top off. Locate the pressure switches, circular items with thin tube attached to each. Take the thin tubes off, block one with your thumb and blow as hard and as long as you can down the other. Refit the tubes and try the machine again. If still faulty, ensure the wiring to the switches and the main control board is good. If still faulty, you'll need to take the rear panel off and check the heater. If still faulty, it's time to begin replacing parts, first the pressure switches and if still not working the main control board Read more: http://www.justanswer.com/questions/2o419-zanussi-zwf-1431w-washing-machine-error-30-being-displayed#ixzz0h0FQPFHS

If your dishwasher is on a wall switch, someone may have shut it off, Your dishwasher could be pluged into a Daisy chaned GFI, check all your GFI in the kitchen and make sure none are triped. The home Fuse Box, make sure the braker is not triped.

After all that has passed, there is a power conection box under the machine. Make sure the power is off from the breaker box or the machine is unpluged before inspecting under the machine or trying to repair this machine.

Dishwasher tippiing out

If it is tripping out a re-settable switch then you have an earth leakage problem.

First thing , have you checked that the plug wiring has not come loose with the machine vibration

There could be a water leak inside the machine allowing dampness to get on a connection or a heater rod which has a slight crack in the outer casing causing it to run to earth when it warms up the water

Neither problem is a DIY job sorry

Hotpoint aquarius dishwashers keeps stopping half way through wash flashing between the 40 and 60 temp light. How can I fix this please

Control panel is sensitive on this model. Mine did the same and machine would not wash to the programme, stopped half way or would not set at all. Switch off machine and unplug from the mains. Leave for 10 minutes. Plug back in and switch the machine to your required programme. You should find this solves the problem. It worked for me.
Failing that, go to the Hotpoint website, find the customer service number and ask if there is anything else you can do to solve the problem yourself. That is what I did and I followed their advice. It saved me the cost of a service call out and they were very helpful. Good luck

Washing machine

Sounds like you may have a corrosion issue or water ingress, causing a short. Could be a corroded heater, water in the main control board, water in the pump motor - the list is endless. Most washers tend to run the pump to ensure drum is drained before starting the cycle, so it would be probable that the problem is in the pump area.

You don't say if the main switch is an RCD or an ELB. I presume it's an RCD.
