Question about Acer Extensa 5620-4020 Notebook
First of all unplug everything from the USB ports and the try connecting on device at a time, in order to locate the problematic device. Sometimes one device "blocks" all the ports. In case this don't help, and assuming that you have Windows xp, go to device manager (right click on my computer>properties>hardware>devise manager) and remove (right click>remove) all the devices under the "USB controller" (click on the plus symbol to see all the devices). After that the laptop maybe need to restart. The drivers for the devices you remove will be installed again. After that connect your USB device and it will work.
In case of a problem or clarification, don't hesitate to post me a reply.
