Bobbin thread bunches up under material

make sure that the bobbin carrier is fixed in properly
make the needle thread tension a lot tighter

My needle won't grab the bobbin thread but if I put some fabric in and start to sew the bobbin thread comes through. However, the bottom thread is all bunched up and causes the machine to jam.

the looping on the underside sounds like a needle thread tension problem. 1st off check top (needle) threading then turn machine by hand to pick up bobbin thread

Thread bunching and bobbin winder quit

This sounds a lot like you've forgotten to lower the presser foot. (this leaves the tension discs open and causes serious issues below the material.) Double check that and if still having issues post again.

Hi...i have been having trouble with my bobbin thread bunching up really bad underneath and causing the machine to seize up when i try to sew...it starts to do this just after a few stitches...i make sure...

Always remember that it is the opposite of what you think, it is your upper thread that is not threaded right, not your bobbin. Once you thread it right, you should be okay. You can buy a manual at sew4less.com for about $14.95

Bunching and Looping (Bobbin Side)

Thread the machine with different color thread for the needle and the bobbin, then see which color is bunching up.Ill bet it is the top thread.

Thread bunces up on the bottom causing machine to

I would start by looking for a problem with the bobbin tension. Do you have the bobbin threaded through the case correctly? Is the the bobbin tension set to loose? Another thing that can cause it to spool up on the bottom is if it sews a bunch of stitches all in the same spot or real close, do you have the presser foot tension to loose?

Hi, my thread gets caught and pulls the materal into the foot and i can not sew due to the jamming and the thread get all bunched up by the bobbin

I had similar problems when I first started sewing. Try adjusting the tension in your thread - less tension for lighter fabrics, more tension for heavier fabrics. This will stop the needle from pulling the threads in the fabric.

As for the thread getting bunched up in the bobbin - this is most likely because your bobbin is the wrong size for the machine, or that you did not thread the bobbin properly. Try re-threading, this time making sure you pull the thread into the bobbin container tightly. This should stop the bobbin from jumping around the container and spitting thread.

The fabric gets pulled down into bobbin compartment and thread gets all bunched up hard to remove

It sounds like your bobbin compartment might be pulled out of alignment. You might want to take the bottom plate off, clean off any lint and threads, and put the bottom compartment back in. Follow your manual if you have it. With your right wheel, slowly start to sew is the top or bottom thread having problems? You may have to rethread top and bottom. I found that one time, my top thread was not threaded correctly.
