Hello there:
whenver you see the f-4 on almost any oven it is telling you that the oven temperature sensor is shorted out and needs to be replaced this sensor is what controls the temperature of the oven.
so what you will need to do is to contact your local appliance dealer and give them the make and model of the apliance and tellthem that you need the temperature sensor and they should be able to get one for you for around 25 dollars then simply unplug the appliance and remove the old sensor it should be secured to the oven wall by a brace and the wires are the push in and pull type then replace it with the new one and plug in the oven and test ok
Hope this is very helpful for you
Best regards Michael

What do I do about oven beeping?

Could be control module, but not sure. I had issues with a code a long time ago, and the broiler kept coming on and wouldn't shut off, so finally had to shut it off at the breaker. Turns out the control module is fried. But just a thought.

F3 f4 gaas oven when preheated these numbers appear it beeps and shuts off

Hi, replace the oven temperature sensor if "F2," "F3" or "F4" is displayed. "F2" indicates the oven temperature is too hot and the oven temperature sensor is suspect. "F3" or "F4" indicates the oven temperature sensor or shorted or open.

I am getting a F4 code and beeping. The beeping

Replace the oven temperature sensor. It is located in the back wall of the oven. 4-6 inches long,up high on the right or left side depending on model. Most can be changed from inside the oven rather than through the back.

Your digital panel may still be under warranty. It may be worth your while to have a tech look at it. Something else is going on here.

F4

luvin, F4 is a shorted oven sensor. Under 950 ohms. Should read 1060 ohms at room temp. The sensor is located in the upper left hand corner of the rear oven wall. Remove the 2 screws and it will pull out enough to remove the connector. Catriver.
