Samsung LNT5271F intermittent Video foldover and green line

I have a Samsung thats a little over two years old that has a strange intermittent video issue and and green line about 2 inches from the right side that never goes away no matter what video setting I change.

here is a link to my photobucket site:
http://s31.photobucket.com/albums/c377/halloweenguy/Samsung%20TV%20problems/?action=view¤t=samsungtvissue001.flv

Here is another person same model as mine with the same issue except my video issue covers the entire screen
http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1191474

I called Samsung to see if they could resolve the issue, and since the TV is no longer under warranty, and they seem to be ok selling expensive TV's only lasting 2 years.

This problems only can be solved by replacing the whole Tuner board.Because the Tuner have many miro intergrated parts,it impossible to replaced or the idea or equipment to test the board which parts is dead.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole Tuner board for the replacement.

Pink and Green Horizontal lines across screen

Normally, horizontal lines on an LCD or LED monitor indicate a bad control board inside the monitor. However, occasionally the problem can be caused by loose or bad cable connections. The only things that you can really do is to disconnect both ends of the monitor cable and reconnect them firmly. Also, you can disconnect the monitor cable completely and just leave the power cable. With only the power cable attached, you can turn the monitor on and off. The monitor should have a "startup screen" or display a message that says something like "Video Cable Disconnected". If the green and pink lines are still present without your computer connected, then the monitor has gone bad. The good news is that Samsung SyncMaster monitors usually carry a 3 year warranty, whereas most monitors only have a 1 year warranty. You may be able to have the monitor replaced at no cost to you if it's less than 3 years old.

I have a samsung lnt5271f tv.the screen goes from black to green and doesnt go away.help

Try multiple sources for your video. This will tell us if its actually a problem with the tv, or possibly a malfunctioning source( dvd player, cable, etc. )
if its a problem on all of the inputs. Try unplugging it, and leaving it unplugged for ten minutes. plug it back in and see if the problem is still there.
If it is its likely there's a problem with the tv's processors.
check if you can get this repaired under warranty. If you are out of manufacturer's warranty, check with your credit card company you used to purchase the product, sometimes as a member perk they'll double it for free :0)

Inspiron Core i5 Laptop. Error: Display driver stopped responding

Hi there!
You mentioned that's a 2 month old laptop,
From what i'm seeing here you should at least have 1 year of warranty with it if you purchased it online,
For the issue you have there,
Might want to specify what video card you have there.
For the drivers, go to support.dell.com then enter your service tag, make sure your select the right operating system, then you'll be able to see the drivers, update the video card driver and the BIOS,
If the problem persist go to nvidia and check your video card if they have released a new driver update,
Worst case scenario is replacing the video card.
Hope this helps!

Picture on Samsung lcd LNT5271F is blurred sometimes lines color distortion double images then goes away and will come back. Part of the screen will go completely lines then come back. Starting to happen...

Had this exact problem diagnosed by a local repair shop as a bad LCD panel. According to the technician there's a loose ribbon cable on the panel and it would cost as much to replace/repair as a new TV.

Blue, red, green lines on top of screen for couple months. Now tv wont work.

The foldover is because of a bad capacitor in the vertical circuit. Given the "new" sympotom of a dead set, I would suspect that the vertical IC has failed. This should be a relatively simple repair for a TV shop. If you wish to attempt a repair of this yourself, update this and confirm your model number and I'll post more details and instructions.

If set displays intermittent green outlines around images, check DVI cable attached to DMD board from digital board. Poor connections on the DVI jack on the DMD board can cause the intermittent symptom. Pull up slightly on the body of the DVI cable connector and check video. Replace DMD board as necessary.
