I ve a 64Mb memory card i want to upgrade it to 2 gb, its asking for format but i cant format it plz help me.. can my phone support it..???

sounds like the memory card reader in the phone is damaged, take it to a phone repair shop

1. Open the cover
2. Find the card slot, look at the bottom part of the unit after you hâve open the battery cover. Tip: Look for the black cover below the battery.
3. If you have found the little black cover, pull it out, be careful not to break it because its very sensitive.
4. After you have remove the black cover, put the memory card in.
5. Close all the things that you have opened.
6. Turn your phone back on and if the card wasn’t detected, go to settings then memory, then card, then options and then format. Note: only do this if the card you are using does not have any important files at this option will delete all files inside the memory card.

and yes the phone does supporft 2 GB card

all you need to do is but a new memory card off of amazon for arround £2, then simply insert it into your phone.

there is a flap on the left hand side of the phone, that you lift up to take in and out the memory card

Hey bro, im sorry to inform you that there is no way to recover your memory card without losing your data. But if you are fine with losing your data, then try this out.
Put your microSD in a nokia E-Series phone. I'll suggest the E-65. Now, go to the memory card in the TOOLS folder and select options, and choose FORMAT MEMORY CARD. It will ask you for your confirmation, press yes if you want to, and it will format your card and remove the password. I hope this works for you. I've tried it and it worked for me !! Cheers !

hi this is Aravind , i'm having 1 GB micro sd memory card for my mobile nokia 6233 ..... and it is password protected ... bit actually i have forgotton the password and now i'm using another phone ... in other phone the memory card is not openinng its asking for password .... i have tried also by connecting the data cable but in nokia pc suite its showing that there is no memory card ...., i had also tried thru card reader's but its not opening ./... is there any solution to unlock this card without losing the data in memory card ... plz help me out ........
