Hello there:
normally when the water hoses are connected correctly and there is still no water this meanbs that the water supply contrlol valve is not working correctly
The hot and cold water hoses hook up to the controle valve and each of them have a seperate solinoid valve that controles each as needed so this is the first thing that i would check or replace and if this does not take care of the problem than you will have to replace the cycle timer assy ok
I hope this is very helpful for you
Best regards Michael

It will fill up but will not wash

WATER PRESSURE SWITCH: This switch keeps your washer from overflowing. It is responsible for shutting off the power to the fill valve and redirects the power to the timer to start the washing machine running once the correct water level has been reached. Meter check ur water pressure switch?
You can test it with a meter and with a manual test? ( first locate it in the panel, it has a plastic clear tube hose going into it, remove that tube from its connection, now put another small tube or hose into the slot where it was and have the machine set to wash cycle with water in it. Blow into the other end of the tube.
If the machine starts to wash. the pressure switch is more than likely good
( No wash starts - then THE DIAPHRAGM IS BAD AND SWITCH HAS TO BE REPLACED) another test u can do is Remove the hose and submerge in water. Seal one end and blow air into the other end and look for bubbles. Check for an obstruction in the hose

also may want to check the door switch

Or take the original hose tube and plug one end and blow into it AT the other end, it should be hard and have pressure, if it is easy to blow and u dont feel any pressure and it feels like the air is going out ?
Sometimes they get busted open or a pin hole and release air causing the water switch diaphragm to not open.

Why does a fisher and paykel DD-603 randomly gives f1 code even when not in use

Fault code F1 can come from a number of different sources and can remain on as long as the machine has power (does not need to be operating). Once a fault is repaired it can be cleared by pressing the Power button. If the fault is still present then it will not
clear. The service manual says: The faults are displayed in the LCD as one of 5 F (fatal) faults or 1 U (user) fault along with the symbol of a spanner. A fatal fault will usually require the assistance of a qualified service person...

Fault Code Description:
Fault Code: F1
LED Display: Rinse LED
Fault: The flood switch has been activated for more than six seconds
Possible Causes
_ Inlet hose to inlet valve connection loose
_ Inlet valve body leak
_ Damage to the fill or drain hoses
_ Heater plate damage (chipped enamel)
_ Seals/O Rings (pinched, contaminated or poor join)
_ Dispenser (seal, diverter valve or weld leak)
_ Lid area (lid motors not functioning correctly, lid off yoke or foreign object interfering with lid seal)

Fault Code Problem Solving:
1.Question: Is there a F1 on both displays? Yes: Go to Question 2. No: If power fails to the bottom tub it will cause thetop tub to go F1. Test heater plate.
2.Question: Has a flood occurred? (N.B. The flood may have dried up) Yes: Go to Question 3. No: Go to Question 13
3.Is the lid sealing on the tub correctly? Yes: Go to Question 5. No: Go to Question 4
4.Question: Are the lid actuators functioning correctly? Yes: Go to Question 5. No: Check the lid actuators are assembled correctly on the slides and yokes. Check the plugs on the RFI board and the terminals on the lid motors. If the lid actuators look slow replace them.
5.Question: Is the water level in the tub high? Yes: Go to Question 6. No: Go to Question 8
6.Question: Is the water inlet valve leaking? Yes: Replace inlet valve. No: Go to Question 7
7.Question: Is the DishDrawer priming correctly? Yes: Go to Question 12. Go to Question 8
8.Question: Is the spray arm split? Yes: Replace spray arm. No: Go to Question 9
9.Question: Is the spray arm running freely? Yes: Go to Question 10. No: Check the rotor is running freely, clear of foreign objects and fitted correctly. Make sure the wash impeller is not slipping off the rotor shaft.
10.Question: Is water leaking from a split inlet or drain hose? Yes: Replace split inlet or drain hose. No: Go to Question 11
11.Question: Is water leaking around the heater plate 'O' rings? Yes: Replace or refit 'O' rings. No: Go to Question 12
12.Question: Is the drain hose blocked? Yes: Clear drain hose of blockage. No:Go to Question 13
13.Question: Is there condensation or foreign matter around the flood switch PCB? Yes: Clear flood sensor of condensation or foreign matter. No: Go to Question 14
14.After clearing water does the F1 fault code still activate? Yes: Replace Chassis RFI board. No: Go to Question 15

Washer error on rinse cycle

E11 means the Fill time is too long. There are a whole bunch of tests to perform - but the easiest is to replace the hoses going into the machine - I had the same problem and tested my hoses - they looked fine - but my machine would do this every so often - turns out my hoses had "check valves" that were a safety design to prevent freeflowing incase one burst.....well the valve was going bad. Replaced both hoses - never had a problem again. But anyways... here are the other tests...

1. Is the incoming water flow normal?
Yes. Go to step (4). No. Go to step (2)
2. Are the incoming water faucets turned completely on?
No. Turn water faucets on. Yes. Go to step (3).
3. Is the incoming water pressure above (30) psi.
No. Have customer correct pressure problem.
Yes. Check for kinked or blocked incoming water hoses, clean
the incoming water screens. If problem still remains, replace the
water inlet valve assembly.
4. Does the fill water continue enter the washer?
Yes. Go to step (5). No. Go to step (6)

5. Remove power from the washer. Did the water fill
stop?
Yes. Go to step (6) No. Replace the inlet valve assembly.

6. Good models, check the pressure switch.
Pressure switch checks good. Go to step (8).
Pressure switch checks bad. Replace pressure switch.

7. Better models, replace the pressure sensor.
If this did not correct the problem, go to step 8.

8. Replace the control board.
Good Luck!!!

GOOD LUCK!!!!

My samsung washing machine 8.0 kg diamond drum model WA104F does not function and no water comes out from the source but power supply is ok

Turn off the water going to the washing machine, and disconnect the hoses at the machine (put a pail under each hose to catch drips or leaks from the shutoff valves). Inspect the strainers at the hose connectors on the machine - they may be clogged with lime or sediment. If so, use a wet-or-dry vacuum cleaner (e. g., ShopVac) to clean the strainers, or if they are easily removed, you can back-flush them under a faucet.

Even if one valve is plugged, the machine may shut down until the problem is corrected. Some models flash an error code indicating a water supply problem - see your owner's manual.

GE washing machine Toploader will not fill with water

see this causes and remedies: God bless you
Water Inlet Valve
First check the hoses that connect to the water inlet valve. Remove these completely there should be a screen in at least one end and maybe both ends. Clean these screens. Next check the back of the water inlet valve screens and remove and clean. If cleaning these out does not correct the problem you will need to check to make sure you have power going to the water inlet valve. Most top loaders will have 120 volts going to the valve. Check each solenoid on the valve. You will need to have the washer on and turned to a fill cycle when checking. If you have power and still no water replace the water inlet valve. No power replace the control. see the diagram attached

Control / Timer

This is less likely the problem but can fail. If you have no power going to the water inlet valve when selecting a fill cycle the timer/ control has failed and you will need to replace the timer.

Orientation of inlet pipes

I am not to sure if this answers your question but I think you are asking which way the hot and cold hoses connect to the wasing machine? if this is the case if you look on the back of the washing machine you will see stamped in the metel a H for hot connect the hot water inlet hose to this, If it is not marked, hook up the hot water hose to the washing machine and place the water temp selector to hot and turn machine on if hot water comes out you have the correct hose hooked up,if not then the cold water hose goes were you hooked up the hot water hose. hope this helps

Karcher Power Washer that surges up and down with water pressure.

Before you start it up:
1. Disconnect the high pressure hose 2. Connect the water supply and turn on 3. Make sure water is flowing through the pump
Start the motor, run for about 10 seconds and then turn off.
Turn off the water supply, connect the high pressure hose, turn water back on, start the motor and away you go.

Hoover Premier 706 (model A6950) washing machine. When filling water wont shut off.Turn power off water shuts off.If I remove hose from side of bowl and gently blow into it water shuts off.Machine is old...

Inserted flexible piece of thin wire into hose connectioin on outside of bowl and vigoursly wriggled it around - replaced hose and bingo water fills and shuts off and machine operates correctly. Seems like the hose connection was blocked, not a very scientific repair method but seems to have worked. Thanks.
