Lamp not lighting

Projector gets power, when first turned on power & status light are green. Then to goes into stand by mode power goes to blinking orange, status goes blinking red ( fast blinking) & it shuts off. this is an NEC VT 660 about 3 yrs old. the lamp has been changed in the last 6 months. according to the NEC user manul the lamp housing is not right, but I have removed it & reseated it it is the right lamp & the screws are secure.

How do I reset it when I have no illumination on the screen ?

WizReset the lamp and try it.

HI
PLS RESET THE LAMP BY PRESSING THE HELP BUTTON
ON THE REMOTE FOR 10 SECONDS. THIS WILL RESET THE
LAMP UNIT TO ZERO.
