Bosch she6ap05 dishwasher not heating

If the unit is not heating, it may give an error message (usually e09) the chances are that it is the heat pump (part number 669135). The circulating motor and heater are combined in this one unit. It is also possible that the power board (situated behind the right side panel, bottom right) is at fault, this needs to be replaced by a qualified engineer as the software is booted by a coding program through a specific computer program. The heat pump will be your first check tho, the heating side is the contacts under the larger connection block and should read approx 20-30 ohms. Hope his helps, if you require more info please add a comment.

Powerstar 115 tankless tripping reset ontop of #2 heat chamber #1 does not get overly warm mainly because of incoming water temp. but #2 seems to be heating after water flow stops to hot to touch and...

I don't have specific suggestion for tankless tripping breaker or if that is a circuit breaker problem or a tankless problem.

1) Move wires to another same-size breaker and see if problem persists.

2) Compare amp draw on tankless label with wire size and breaker size amp rating.
For example 30 amp breaker using 10ga wire is rated for 80% of listed amps or 24 amps.

3) If you are drawing full 30 amps, then 30 amp breaker is getting hot. Breaker trips with heat. Older breakers can trip more easily.

4) Before calling service technician, open following link for Bosch troubleshooting steps.

5) Be sure to read manual for yearly maintenance requirements.

6) Add a tempering tank for incoming cold water problem.

7) All gas tankless brands can be repaired by homeowner for $330.

Installed this unit last Sept. I have started getting A# error codes. This has something to do with a jumper. I'm not sure how to correct this issue.

Open following link for Bosch tankless troubleshooting resources, including Bosch contact information, typical manuals, error codes, tech support, parts, fuel-saver calculator, water heater forum, fixya links, disclaimers, and links for finding service technician.

Read manual cover to cover, make sure tankless receives yearly maintenance as outline in manual.

Water pressure has decreased and now heater only works once in a while

The unit is clogged with mineral buildup. You will need to pump an appliance cleaner or just vinegar through the unit for around 20 the 30 minutes to remove the buildup. Contact Bosch for replacement washers, you need them to reassemble the unit.

Someone put dishsoap in the dishwasher

Hello jennifer, welcome to fixya. I usually find this works... If you have your normal dishwasher detergent such as Cascade, Electrosol etc. add some directly into the tub of the unit as this type of detergent actually has an "anti-sudsing" agent added to it and will neutralize any "soap" introduced to the machine. Don't be shy with the stuff, be generous it will likely require a couple or a few tablespoons full. You may need to repeat the process or just add a ton of dishwasher detergent as well as some vegetable oil which will help neutralize the soap as well. Select a "normal wash" cycle, but monitor it closely. If you notice it sudsing add more detergent and make sure the water is good and hot at your kitchen tap before turning it on.

Let me know how you make out. It usually works in the cases I've had...eventually. I've seen plenty as you are not the first nor will you be the last...that's life ;o) Please take a moment and rate this solution favorably after experiencing positive result's. Let me know either way please. Thank you for visiting "fixya" today.

Good luck.

Bosch SHU 8805 upper arm is getting no water.

replace the upper water arm conduit and wash arm hub as they leak under years of pressure and the o-rings leak water and then it can't hold pressure and supply the upper arm with full pressure water, also replace the center arm conduit if it has one as this will wear out too

"add water" error message.

problem solved! the float in the water tank has a magnet in it that the main unit senses. the previous owner cleaned the tank before shipping and installed the sensor upside down. if you disassemble the water tank, it is very easy to install the float incorrectly.

The tube which feeds the siphon pump cand be swithced to port two . when you remove hose it can be force feed with a turkey baster filled with water. once its primed the first time it should be fine. also if its exposed to cold weather when shipped or in starage it need to be broght to room temperature before priming .

Look into your manual, clean outlet filter & refit. Machine will not spin out if filter is clogged.
