I've the same problem !
When I turn on the machine it wants me to add water while it's full !
I refreshed it and cleaned the socket with a vacuuumcleanr, nothing helps.

You can use white vinigar or baking soda. I use baking soda because vinigar will dry out the seals over time. If you use baking soda, mix a teaspoon full in a small amount of water to break it up, fill the unit half full of water, add the mix, fill the unit with water and run the unit as normal. If you use vinigar, add one teaspoon to a full load of water and run the unit as normal. When the cycle is finished, fill the unit with plain water and run again to flush.
Hope this helps.
That means the pump needs to be primed by running water through the wand. Push the water button and open the knob on the right. You will hear the pump change tone when it primes and the light or message will disappear. If you have a restriction in the intake line the message will not go away. There is a flow meter inside the machine that measures water flow. If the flow meter does not spin when the pump is running, the computer thinks that the pump is not primed. Coffee grounds can get into the intake and restrict the flow meter. If you get a restriction in the water intake (below the water tank, on the machine) the pump may run and water comes out, but the flow meter does not create the jet of water to spin the turbine wheel to send impulses to the computer. You get the ventilate message. One thing to remember is when you are working on the water system (have the water tank off) do not fill the bean hopper and visa versa. Keep them covered when working on the other. Cross contamination will damage a machine fast
The first thing that I would check is the tip of the steam wand for a plug. If that is clear then I would suspect a clogged flow meter. If you can get the flow meter out it twists apart and don't loose the parts and the dot on the turbine goes up. Clean out the small opening on the bottom pipes where the hoses attach. Look inside and make sure that they are clear before reassembling.

does the pump make noise? If so, you can try to fill up the hose with water, sometimes it works. If the noise ist first loud then less loud may be that the water cant flow, because the whole maschine is calcified, try to decalcify, best and secure way with tartaric acid. If there is no noise, the pump may be damaged, or there is a fuse blown (mechanical or electric) at the pump.
problem solved! the float in the water tank has a magnet in it that the main unit senses. the previous owner cleaned the tank before shipping and installed the sensor upside down. if you disassemble the water tank, it is very easy to install the float incorrectly.
The tube which feeds the siphon pump cand be swithced to port two . when you remove hose it can be force feed with a turkey baster filled with water. once its primed the first time it should be fine. also if its exposed to cold weather when shipped or in starage it need to be broght to room temperature before priming .
2 things to check ..when was the last time you properly descaled the unit ? If the waterflow is restricted inside the lines and the boiler ,the interior flow meter signals the computer to show insufficient flow ..clean /descale . If magnet floats to the top of the small lid that keeps it in the little chamber . If it does not float or partially sinks it is defective ..leaks through a tiny hole in the plastic and water filled the grey magnet with some water (adds weight ) then rusted the strong magnet into rusty magnetic powder and loses magnetic force . You can use a new good strong magnet to see if the sensor is good by placing it where the old one was .Light should go OFF The overall important service is to keep the scale out of any machine as much as you can .
