Question about Dell Inspiron™ E1505 PC Notebook
Ok, i was downloading realplayer 10-5 gold. half way thru decided i didn't want that version and stopped the download. now i have an icon that looks like a white square with a blue strip on the top in my folder that will not delete. it says it is being used by another program. anyone?o, i'm running xp.
Go here and download Revo Uninstaller. Run the program and look for realplayer in the list, double click the realplayer icon and choose to uninstall. Choose advanced from the options. The Real Player uninstaller will run first, follow the prompts and uninstall, when it asks you to reboot, choose no, I'll reboot later. Now Revo will tell you to click next and it will then search for all other left over files in the registry, when it is finished it will list them, select all and delete, now it will search for any other file that pertians to the program and will list them, choose delete all and hit next. Reboot the machine and all evidence of Real player or any other program you choose to delete will be gone forever.
