Question about Televison & Video
I have a samsung HCL552w tv that has had a "ghosting"picture problem in the past, i had an extended warrenty through sound track and when this problem happened, they said it was a convergence ic amp circut board problem and they replaced it and said that that should have never happened and with the replacement board, it should never happen again. well, guess what, now the warranty is up, and the same problem has happened again. i have been reserching this on the web and found out that this a nation wide problem, is there any way that samsung can be made responsible for this faulty circute board so i dont have to keep paying for somthing that is not my fault but the fault of an faulty ic amp board? thans
Its the ICs that keep burning out. If you would like I can post a link where you can get the new ICs along with the step by step instructions on how to do the repair yourself. This is a common problem for all projection TVs. It is a very easy and inexpensive repair, most shops try to sell the entire board.
