Hi,
If your washer spins but doesn't pump the water out, the drain line is probably clogged. In many washers, a small sock or other piece of clothing can get between the clothes tub and the outer tub that holds the water. If the clothing gets between the tubs, it may then get into the drain hose that's attached to the pump--or even into the pump itself. If it's in the pump, you need to remove the hoses from the pump and pull the item out. To remove the sock from the outer tub port, open the washer's main access panel and remove the large-diameter rubber hose that connects the pump to the bottom of the outer tub. Then, using needle-nose pliers, try to grab and remove the clothing through the port. Sometimes you can't remove the stuck clothing from below. Then you have to remove the agitator, top of the outer drum shield, and inner clothes tub. This isn't easy to do--and you may need special tools--so you might be happier getting a qualified appliance repair technician to do the job. If the drain line isn't plugged, the problem may be with your pump. Even if the pump appears to be turning, the internal impeller may be broken. If so, you need to replace the pump.
Thank you !

Wont drain?

Check the pump filter which could be blocked or something like a nail has jammed the pump impeller. this may cause a mess as the water needs to be drained to access the removable cover to gain access to the filter/impeller.
Also check the drain pipe is not blocked. this can also be used to drain the machine into a bucket manually.

What are the common fixes for OE Error Code?

OE error code is an Outlet Error.

That has to do with the drain itself. It can come up when the unit is draining slowly, it has nothing to do with water-level really. I would suggest makign sure that your drain hose is not crimped / crushed / or obstructed first before going onto other problems.

Washer now shows OE on progess window after i tried to wash bathroom rug. Would not spin/drain excess water and door won't open.

The LG error code OE simply means “the pump is blocked”. Presumably the water isn’t being emptied properly. As with all error codes it is possible that there is a cause other than the exact description in the error code explanation but basically this error means as far as the washing machine is concerned it thinks the water isn’t pumping out. A pump, or filter blockage is the most common cause but it could be caused by other faults such as a faulty pump, or even a blockage in the drain hose or somewhere else in the system etc.

LG themselves have some information on this error code Washing machine that has an OE error code.

Hi dear.OE code meaning on Lg washer's"machine unable to drain in 10minutes". You can make a little test. Please remove the filter & pour some water in side drum ,watch for water coming out of filter. If it's slow, tub to pump hose clogged.(there must be some sort of fluff or coin clogging hose)if it's not slow, waters comes out freely, run machine on drain cycle & check the pump motor is it running smoothly? If not change the pump.I hope that helps.Thanks.

Washer has water still in drum and OE on digital readout

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. OE is a drain error, it flashes when the washer won’t drain within 10 minutes. TO resolve this issue you’ll have to check the drain pump filter for any clogs, also check the drain hose for any kinks and clean the drain pump filter. If still the issue is not resolved then you might have to replace the pump. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

And from your original post, I see that you have checked the drain pipe and the pump filter..

Those are the only 2 things I would of asked you to check aswell.

As for the price, I cannot answer that as most manufacturers wont publish their prices unfortunatly.

Sorry I couldnt of offered more help.

Error Code OE and Door will not unlock

error code OE simply means “the pump is blocked”. Presumably the water isn’t being emptied properly.try running the spin cycle alone till the water empties completely. If the problem still continues it means that the pump is clogged where you cant reach, since you've tested with the drain hose.
