The print on my documents are not legible. Some words are clear some are not.

From what you've told me, your printer needs to be re-aligned. To find out how to do this, go to Canon's web-site: www.canon.com Select your model, and press " Support ". Download the service manual, and then you'll always have it on your computer any time anything else goes wrong.

HP 1610xi printer printing very lightly, barely legible, after changing to new HP cartridges and doing cleaning maintenance repeatedly.

Check the settings in your printer driver. I have seen similar issues with a setting often called draft or eco mode. Where it prints very faintly.

Thanks

Printed text is very small, not legible and does

Go to to print menu box i.e. press ctrl P. Look for zoom. There you will see "scale to paper size." Here select from the drop down list "no scaling" or "A4" depending your paper size. This shoule correct it.

In case you do not see these on your print menu click "properties" on your printer. In the box that appears look for "scale" and make it 100%. These are the components that control percentage size of original documents printed.
