You can try to take the keypad off and see if that works. It sounds like the board that controls your keypad might be ruined. If you can't get it to work take it to a cell phone shop and see what they charge. Be sure to shop around and be sure to tell them you are doing so. They are competitive but also overcharge people when they know they can.

My palm centro keyboard and other buttons randomly stopped workig

Hello hyuuga4567,

The keyguard feature might be accidentally enabled. To turn off Keyguard, do the following:
• When the screen is off, press the red power button to wake up the screen.
• Press the center (Palm) button to turn off Keyguard.

You can change how quickly Keyguard turns on, or you can disable this feature altogether. To change the Keyguard settings, do the following:
• Press the Home button
• Select System from the category drop-list at the top of the screen
• Select Prefs
• Select Keyguard.
• Select the Auto-Keyguard pick list, and then do one of the following:
-Select how quickly you want Keyguard to turn on: When power is turned off, 5 seconds after power off, or 30 seconds after power off.
-Select Disable to completely disable the Keyguard feature until you turn it on again by pressing Option +
Power/End when the screen is on.
4 Select Done.

More information about the keyguard feature canbe found in the Palm Centro User's Guide:

Phone sceen turns on. fully charged. touch screen works. Phone doesn't turn on. Phone off displays after I have touched the on/off switch.

With the phone screen showing, press the red button at the right-hand side and hold it for about two seconds. The Centro should display a "Welcome" screen, then after a few seconds the phone screen should reappear with the carrier name at the upper left instead of "Phone Off". Each time you press and hold the red button the phone switch on/off..

Keys on my palm centro won't work!

Some phones have a keypad lock so you dont accidentally hit the buttons if its in your pocket or something. Maybe try to go to settings and see if there is anything like that.

NONE OF MY BUTTONS ON THE PHONE ARE WORKING...I CAN USE TOUCH SCREEN ONLY

if you have it under warranty, take it to the service center. If at all there is an option of totally shutting down the working of keypad, check that in the user manual. and if not, check out the way to the service centre.

Transfer of treo programs to Palm Centro

The Centro and Treo are virtually identical. Have you tried reinstalling the applications from scratch on the Centro (vs. relying on Palm synch to automatically synch all applications)?
