I have a Fujitsu Lifebook LBS6120 notebook

17 Mar 2010 I have a Fujitsu Lifebook LBS6120 notebook computer. When I press the power on button the cooling fan begins to run immediately yet there is no display or any indication that the notebook is booting up. The display remains black and the cooling fan continues to run. This condition occurs when using the main or battery supply. I must remove the main and remove the battery to turn the notebook off. The notebook has performed very well for many years until this issue occured today. Yor advisement will be appreciated. Thank you.

Try to to see if the LCD screen is too dark but not off? sometimes you can have that , because of inverter board failure.

Turn on as you did before and leave on for 10 minutes. Then, try turning OFF the computer by keeoing the POWER button pressed for 7 secons. If the computer goes off, then your screen is fried and the computer is actually booting up normally... you just can't see it ;)

Is the monitor working. If have not checked it try connect it to an external screen. If the screen is okay, try and remove memory (RAM) and after ten seconds you place it backup and start the computer and check.

You need to turn the laptop upside down and remove the panels, remove the fan assembly and clear the fluff and dirt from the copper heat sink.

If you don't feel that adventurous you can buy a laptop tray with built in fans that blow cool air into the laptop to help keep it cool and assist the main processor fan.

I'm using fujitsu life s series s7211 and could not start up my laptop . the fan is running, the battery icon is showing, but no screen.

Try to unplug the power from the back of the notebook and take out the battery and any other accessories. While no battery and power, press the power button for 10 seconds to drain everything inside. Plug the power back, turn it on w/o the battery. If you have a POST screen then try to go Fujitsu website to see if there's a new firmware for the notebook. If no screen then you need to take it to a tech/repair shop.

If the notebook is not working at all now, you have to test the power supply to see if it is providing enough power to run the system. I would try to put the battery back on, let it charge for at least 12 hours, then try to turn on the system with the battery still installed on the machine. That way we can eliminate whether the power supply has sufficient voltage carrying capacity to operate the system.

If that doesnt work, then its time to call Fujitsu.

Hello my fujitsu e2010 jusr stop working it will

Hi. Try to remove the battery, unplug the ac adapter and press/hold the power button for 10 seconds then plug the ac adapter in. do not put thebattery back in yet. turn the computer on and see what will happen.

If nothing happens, your motherboard needs to be replaced.

Good Luck!

Fujitsu Lifebook does not boot up

Have you tried draining the static on your computer?

Turn off the computer
remove the battery and adapter
press and hold the power button for 1 minute
plugged back in the adapter and battery
turned on the computer

if not resolved:

tried using an external monitor and connect to your computer to check if you can have a video on the external, if yes it is possible an LCD issue

Also, you may try using a flashlight in your LCD and check if you can see any, if none?

I suspect possible LCD issue.
