1 Answer

No reaction Okay, this thing worked swell for up to 3 months now. Yesterday I added some videos, converting takes time so I went to eat for an hour. I came back, it was finished, pulled it out and when I wanted to start it.... nothing Absolutely nothing... black screen I plugged it back in and.... the computer won't recognise it! This is just too weird, anybody know what to do?

If it was that easy do ya think I'd waste my time posting on it?
I mean come on, there are at least two posts already giving that solution, anybody know anything else? plz?

  • Craigomyeggo Mar 30, 2008

I tried turning it on, reseting it, and plugging it in but nothing happened.

  • Jijan_Dax Mar 31, 2008

thanks, that really helped a lot,... it still doesn't work so I'm pretty convinced now it's a hardware problem. tsjeesj these things break pretty easily, and I've taken such good care of it :O

I'll be returning it to the store tomorrow for repairs then, thx for helping!

If you don't mind losing your music/videos that you stored (not too sure if you do lose your music, but just in case),
find the reset hole on the side of the player, below the power/hold switch, push it with a paper clip or something of that size.

If that doesn't work, wait for the battery to die completely, then charge and turn it back on.

did you try reinstalling the drivers/firmware?

Ok, after you do a reset: try the cleanup option first, then if that doesn't work, try format.

    1. Press and hold the Play button while powering on your player.

    2. When the player displays the Creative logo, release the Play button.

It will display the following options:

    Clean Up:

Scans the player and removes invalid links from its music library.
Does not affect music files themselves.

    Format (All):

    Caution! Erases all content!
Save a copy of your player's content before formatting.

    Reload OS/ Firmware :

    Caution! Erases your player's firmware.

DO NOT select the Reload Firmware option unless you have access to a PC and you have downloaded the necessary firmware to install.

    Reboot:

    Reboots the device.

How long does it take to drive from Sutton wv to panama city fl

Go to:
maps.google.com

In the window in the upper left corner of the web site, type:
Sutton, WV

Then in the little window below that, click on:
Directions

Then enter:
Panama City, FL

You'll get a map that looks like the one at this link:
Sutton WV to Panama City FL

It says it's 812 miles if you go through Charlotte and it will take you 13 hours and 12 minutes if you drive it straight. Any time you stop to sleep, eat, refuel, etc, would be added to that time, of course.

I recently bought a 2003 Ford Escape it has approx. 170,000kms. When I first bought the car it was pretty good on fuel, as of recently the car eats gas like crazy. I have had the car almost 5 months.

The reason is that no vehicle requires anything added to it

Those products don't do anything but take your money

16 oz in an 18 gallon tank is too weak to be of any benefit

You need to install new spark plugs ,new front O2 sensors.

Spark plugs wear & are good for about 3 years
O2 Sensors control fuel injector pulses & slow down
at 100,000 miles, then fail at some point

You could do the fuel & air filter

The vehicle is used,so you apply all your past knowledge
& go thru the entire vehicle,ALL Fluids, trans, power steering
gear oil etc

Very seldom is a vehicle ever worked on or serviced.

I could write a book here but don't want to hurt your feelings

I would spend a month on any used vehicle before I ever
used it
That would require about 120 hours labor, but I do all
my own work.

The exhaust converter is only a couple years from replacement
12 to 14 years for that

You have fuel consumption issues,so then the converter is near
it's end & ignition issues would be a concern for me,& again it
is a ford product, actually a Mazda engine,so that is another
area to run some tests on

You need a road test with a professional scan tool to look
at data, fuel trim & cylinder misfire counts to get on top of
your issues

Single 8280 sewing machine handwheel not turning

okay, i have never used a sewing machine except for once, but i do know quite a bit about them because my grandmother knows a lot to. so, here we go. take the spool of thread off of the machine now, locate the thing (i'm not sure what its called) that the spool rests on. now, push it in and turn it at the same time. test it out. keep doing that until it works. it might take as much as an hour, but at the same time it could just take a few simple seconds. good luck.

Okay, first let me set up the situation. The A/C had been working fine, no problems, then night before last we had a storm and the electric went out. It would come on for a minute or two then go out again....

Go out there to the outside unit and kill the power.
Find the Capacitor and look for a swelling or leaky case.themobilian_2677.jpgthemobilian_2678.jpg
That thang shuting on and off quickly several times coulda done in that cap.

un install the optimizer, its not really that good, it just tweaks the settings of your visuals, if you want a really good converter, download Total converter, its the best converter out there and takes only minutes, can convert to any file from any file

I would change gas brands, it may be an additive they use, have seen this before on my own car, a 1973 NOVA, I went to a carb shop they sold me a Viton rubber pump, changed gas brands installed the pump and problem went away.
