Onida split Ac displays F5/F6 error and trips immediately after starting. Since display is faulty it is not clear whether it is F5 or F6

If it is f6 which mean motor rpm sensor error (motor rpm feedback error )

Plz check the PCB card of indoor unit,might be relay not working properly.May be dry soldring or u have to change it.It will be ok

F6 error is related with the indoor blower motor check the return signal wire of motor with the small connector and fix it properly.

Electrolux split A.C. display F6 error and trips immediately after starting the compressor.


Anti high temperature protection.
Check the outdoor coil for airflow obstructions.
Check the outdoor fan motor for correct operation.

That code is usually a result of a leak in the system and the unit being low on charge...find/fix the leak and recharge the unit.

Our onida 1.00 ton is not working. whenever we start AC it get started properly then immediately F6 error came on it .


F6- short of gas in the system.. Call repair man to find out the leak and rectify.
