It will definitely be the bearings and possibly the spider as well. the spider is attached to the bowl. the spider is made of aluminum and they corrode all the time. open the door to the machine and grab hold of the steel bowl, has it got movement on it. if it has then the spider and bearings are faulty, also the main shaft seal will need replacing.nearly every time i went to an LG 8013f that was noisy it was the bearings and or spider. hope this helps. please reply 4 more help. good luck.

I have just pulled apart my WD-8013F with the same noisy spin cycle problem. Rotating the drum manually you can hear the bearing noise. I dismantled the machine and found one of the bearings (immediately behind the drum) has had water in it, is rusty, and makes noise when it spins. There is a place on the internet selling spare parts called bigwarehouse.com.au but they want around $50 per bearing (that is a bit expensive in my opinion), The problem is the seal was also no good and the shaft that the seal runs on was also corroded and requires replacement, this shaft is attached to a three pronged device called a spider which bolts to the back of the drum, the bolts that hold this in are corroded and cannot be removed. The cost of this job properly is starting to get prohibitive and I am looking at a new machine. I purchased a replacement bearing ( 6206 2RS which is motorcycle wheel bearing for $7.50) and fitted it an reassembled the machine, it it all running sweet for the time being but it will only be a matter of time before the bearing fails again. Changing the bearing was not a simple job and requires a number of tools, the rusty bearing made the drum difficult to remove, and getting the retaining clip back on the door seal during re-assembly took me a while. The bearing I replaced was the same physical size but slightly different from the one that I removed in that it had tight plastic seals where as the bearing I removed wasn't sealed. My machine was 6 years old.

SOURCE: lg intellowasher wd-8013f is very noisy

You suspect right.
It is a complete strip down job. I have just finished mine.
taking apart and reassembling is not too dificult.but you need to make up a tool to remove and replace the bearings which are two different sizes. It consists of a lenghth of studding, bolts and washers.
Download the manual from LG.
Good Luck

LG Intellowasher 7kg, Model WD-8074FHB - noisy spin cycle

You are right!

Bearings have to be replaced. Replace with the same type and design. All the bearings connected to the washer center shaft has to be replaced at the same time with new set.

Replace the water seals also connected to this. Check the shaft where the bearing sits, for any abrasions or metal damage.

Check the bearing housing also. While carrying out these repairs check the drive belt also. If needed replace it.

If you are happy with the machine outer body and other aspects repair it and re-use it.

Front loader noisey

Hi.

If you remove the belt and turn drum by hand, it should revolve freely and without any noise.

If it is noisy or feels stiff, then you proabably have main drum bearing failure.

Could be expensive to put right

Wm noisy

drum bearings, check and investigate, remove drive belt and then rotate, if still noisy then yes its the drum bearings, if the noise stops when the belt removed the motor bearings are faulty costly repair on most models, sorry oh there is also the possibility there is something lodged within the drum cavity between the lining and the drum casing
